  1. I know this will probably fall on deaf ears but I really think FTOPS (Full Tilt On-Line Poker Series) is getting a little played out. You guys have watered this tournament series down so much in my opinion by running it every other month it seems. Why not be more creative and save FTOPS as a special event? I am all for having a tournament series every month or two, but how about something creative? You know, like a real casino.... Here are a couple ideas I have had;

Spring Tournament Series (week of different bigger buy in tournaments)

Deep Stack Mania (all super stack tournaments)

Mini World Series of Poker (run tournaments concurrent with the real WSOP, just 10% of the buy in for that days event or something)

I dunno, I am no marketing genius or anything. It just seems like people get more excited about DIFFERENT tournament series'. Maybe I am wrong, I don't know. I live in Vegas though, maybe I am just used to a variety of poker tournaments.........

  2. This isn't bad, but not sure if it really matters. I do like the themed ideas. This sort of reminds me of wrestling PPV's.

Only one I'd question is the mini WSOP. I don't think you could use that name, but otherwise, it's kind of interesting

I didn't necessarily mean they HAVE to use these ideas. Just ANYTHING creative would be nice IMO.

  4. Love the mini-wsop idea.. They can mimick the starting chips and blind levels as well, and just tweak down the time per level..
  5. How about forget the FTOPS tinkering and they get a customer service department that

    1) Is reasonable and logical

    b) does not send you the same lame "blanket" email when you ask a question

third) can respond to emails in less than 5 days

    4) doesnt act like Nazis and ban their loyal customers without a valid reason
  6. <333 FTOPs as I'm sure a ton of people do... if it were up to me they'd run it once a month

  7. I won't complain about a site having more big tournaments, if it's not my cup of tea, I just won't play. Also cash games get juicier during ftops. I think they are spaced out pretty well. Give everyone a little break to reload, then just run mad satellites into all the events. Which is what attracts all types of players.

  8. Who is complaining about lack of tournaments? FTP has/is doing and excellent job putting out nice tournaments. I would just like to see FTOPS be special, or even a new grand tournament series with more prestige I don't care. Would like a variety of tournaments, different poker variants, different buy-ins, different prizes etc. Full Tilt has improved by leaps and bounds over the past year IMO.

  9. I've suggested this before, some time ago, maybe it's time for it again.

A running series of turnys, Just Like Live, where the structure and buyins mimic those of different live events around the world. This month the USPC, next month some WPT, and so on. Can't make it to Aruba this year, here's the next best thing. Copying the structure is easy, and adjusting the level lengths to approximate live play should be fairly simple too. Having a leaderboard for just this series would probably help also.

^^^^^^^^^^^ best response ever, FTP do not give a s%$t about their customers
  11. Fftp structure is actually better than a lot of live events IMO, And there nothing worng with FTOPS every 3 months, especially when each FTOPS is better than the last one. Now they just need more sattys esp to the $2500
  12. Having higher buy in tournaments with tons of satellites to weaken the field as often as possible is ideal. I fail to understand what issue you could take with that.

  14. you should send your ideas to ft. THESE ARE ALL GREAT IDEAS!
  15. i certainly look forward to the WCOOP a lot more than FTOPS, although it probably depends where I am doom switched at the moment.
