1. nothing like signing in and starting to play with the double and a few sngs and the site stops responding everytime it tries to sit me at my seat in the double. Then i email FT numerous times to try and get the issue resolved and they try pushing it to me and my cnnection. Bullshit. I could see hands in the sng until the 200k popped up then the whole site freezes ( it started as soon as the window popped up to seat me and didnt stop til i was blinded out). Also just to add i was playing on AP the whole time without any issues at all.

Has this happened to anyone?
2. last night this happened to me twice until I said f this and went to stars for the rest of the night
3. It is your machine. You are under powered to play the double duece and other tables. I don't know what it is, but there is something about the tourney lobby with lots of players that will peg a lesser machine. My old box had that happen in the mini FTOPS. I was playing a few tables and the mini FTOPS I could see my cards but could not act. Watched myself fold for like 45 minutes on all tables. I had closed and reopened FTP a couple of times and one time I had the tourney lobby for the mini FTOPS crap out but somehow I still got sat at my table. When the lobby had died, I was fine. Unfortunately closing the lobby after you sit doesn't help. I'm not certain if it is CPU, RAM or a combination of both.

Since then I have a kick ass machine that is about 5 months old with lots of RAM. I'll be IM'ing buddies and they'll complain FTP is lagging during the double duece and for me and another friend with a new machine it is fine. It isn't the connection and it isn't FTP having problems. It is your machine having issue running the FTP sfotware. The only fix is a new machine or stay out of the tourneys with boatloads of people in them.

wait this was on tilt or ap ?
5. if ur in a few big tourneys and it does this, just close the lobby of the tourneys with thousands of players like the 22.

the lobby takes long to load and freezes alot, just close it out

Its because of the lobby loading up. My machine isnt brand new but not ancient - I watched the lobby slowly load - which is a function of the speed of my machine.

stars gets one thing right with the lobby issue on big tournies. Notice how it doesnt load a full player list unless you hit the link to show the names? This saves your CPU the power needed to do the load.

9. funny thing was it was my 1st weekend playing on FT...

10. Does your machine meet the min requirements?

Windows Recommended Requirements

• Windows XP
• 400MHZ Pentium or faster CPU
• 128MB of RAM or more
• screen resolution of 1024x768 with 16-bit colour depth (high colour)
• broadband connection
• 60mb of free disk space

Windows Minimum Requirements

• Windows 98/2000 or XP
• 266MHz Pentium or faster CPU
• 64 MB of RAM or more
• screen resolution of at least 800x600 with minimum of 256 colour
• dial up connection (56.6)
• at least 30mb of free disk space
I have a feeling FT needs to update their requirements. I'm sure an email to their customer service will get that snap-fixed.
