    I searched and didn't see a topic yet.

    So who likes breaking records, crashing servers, and $250k in added money?

    All for $5. 14,000 people already registered. And it's capped at 50k, so I'd get in there sooner rather than later.

    I wonder why pokerstars capped their Guiness World Record tournament at 35k. I'm sure stars could have gotten 100k ppl in their tourny if it wasn't capped. I guess Full tilt gets 50k then in a few months stars comes back and takes the record again.

    I got 9th place out of 9,898 runners just a few hours ago in one of those 5 FTP point 5k guarantee freerolls for $50. W00t. I'm registered for The Record Breaker too. Should be fun!

    Since stars has around 40-50K more people on the site than FTP does normally I feel like a promotion like this where 50K people are playing in the same tournament would be less likely to crash FTP's software than 35K on Stars due to the extra traffic Stars already gets.

    That being said, this thing has total donkfest written all over it...I'm so fucking in.

    It's a bit of a coincidence that on the day that this is announced that stars is suddenly running some freerolls advertised in the regular MTT tab with 50000 capacities. I think they are spazzing out and warming up to smash this FT attempt to tiny little pieces!

    yeah I watched that unannounced $1k freeroll at 1 et. After the hour long late reg, it filled to 40k players. I did get a good chuckle out of the $30 for 1st. Thats bad for even a freeroller like me

    Oh, stars are going for 55000 in the 3pm ET one. It's amazing how such silly things amuse me, such a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

    how long did that even take? played one of these the other day and half the field was gone in 10 mins

    how does it feel to outlast 10K people and spend that much time doing so and still not be able to register for the 50/50 with your winnings?

    Looks like I'm going to have to take that Sunday off as the FT software is gonna be super slow - they can barely handle the fkn Double Duece htf do they intend on handling a 50k person tourney, it's gonna take 2 hrs just to get everyone seated.
