very surprised sum1 as smart as u can not see how bad this "revolutionary" game is 4 poker.....i expect this from most on this site but way 2 many highly ranked players r cheering this game on.......WORST THING FOR POKER PLAYERS....GREAT 4 FTP!!!!!!!

IMO this is revolutionary. Hope they can do the equivilent for MTTs and SNGs someday. (dunno how that would be done, but I never thought about this genius idea either!) -
Revolutionary is an understatement. Less experienced players are going to want to play more often cause you can see up to 5x as many hands per hour than normal poker, and by only playing one table! (Many novices don't enjoy playing more than a table or two). ANYTHING that can get new players to start playing in an economic downswing is not good for the game, its great for the game, so everyone that is knocking it needs to gain some perspective.

I'm down like 7 BI's, I havent won with a set yet (4 or 5 times) my flopped flushes get murdered and my AA and KK get squashed by lower sets
fuck this -
Here is a prime example of the horrible play. FML

I've also noticed a trend of people limping button to see if SB had Quick fold on and BB had c/f on, then betting any flop if that's the case.

I'm loving this game, I got my stack up to $150 last night from $25 and have seen a stack of $180. This game is like a dream come true. I hope it stays this way.
The very first round I played I thought "Aha, raising BvB will be so profitable!" And I raised atc bvb, but then I played more and now I think what I said in OP is the best, just fold junk hands AND the bottom of your normal range 'cause there is too much equity in increasing your hands/hour instead of waiting to hope no one raises (or even limps, 'cause I raise I lot of hands bvb I wouldn't even over limp with in std play) -
How can you "play it normally?" You mean use exact same ranges as normal play before you get a feel for the table?
I guess that's one way, but I think there still has been some adaption, especially because OTHER people play Rush differently, which means you should accommodate for that as well. -
I think this would help to, but like what are you going to do, find the player in the lobby in the middle of the hand? I guess, waste of timebank and valuable rush hands imo.

Me thinks this is good info to know players playing 1 rush table vs players playing 4.
Tbh I'm not sure I even read my opponents names when I get in a hand, and I seldom glance at their stack unless they are re-raising or we see a flop. -
Sucks that some of you are having bad runs... i've increased my FTP bankroll 30% playing within bankroll rules in the last two days (50NL). Yesterday I had one of my best cash game sessions ever.
Yea, I had some good cards... but I played them standard and got paid off MUCH better than my normal tables. IMO there are tons of fish, and you just need to play more if you are running bad. -

I've had AA with top trips cracked twice, but it doesn't matter 'cause I'm getting Aces every second.
Actually I have gotten 1010 more times playing today than my entire life, for some reason it's just ALWAYS 1010. -
When I say normally. I play like when I play regular cash. I usually play anywhere from 12 to 24 at at time. Not very well I might add but I do do it... I play TAG mostly with POS.. Meaning if a 10BB stack raises me and im on the button with the bottom of my range im probably folding.. But if a 150BB stack is raising me. I might call with cards below my range. Looking for implied odds and all that shit. And I 99% dont slow play big hands cause you always get value. I play these as if im 24 tabling. I'll open unopened pots in LP with pretty much anything remotely suited and connected on up. Set mine like a mother.. So you flop awesome stuff like this

I think everyone.. (Including myself) Should wait a week and then see your results. As true in cash games your going to have swings. These are like playing Turbos. Your going to have more variance. But in the end the best players making the best decisions over the long haul will profit.
In theory its a great deal for good players and the sites. Good players should increase hourly rate. Site gets more rake per hour. Its a win win. Losing players are going to lose anyway so it doesnt matter how fast they lose it.. -
Ok i got yeah. I pretty much agree with all that, I def set-mine like a mother too.
That's another one of the great things about Rush, so many deepstacks. Def changes ranges as well (which is ANOTHER edge good players can have, see there are still edges in rush people). -
Holy crap, early results are awesome.
Granted, played lowest limit, bought in for 8 bucks, cashed out 15 minutes later with $31.06.
What's not to like about this? Fold everything but the BB, as soon as you see it's not a big pair or Top Ten hand, push if you got it, move on.
It's poker on crack, and if I'm not careful I'll be hanging in the rush rooms a LOT. -
the key to success is to 4 table and play metallica really really loud
-
swings here are gonna be huuuuugeee..
hang in there when ur kings dont hold....
think that u are playing omaha and ull be fine -
nicely said fink....what a difference a day makes

PLayed for an hour. Didnt win one hand at 100NL.. Just another online rigged scam. 300 hands. Didnt win a pot.. AA Lose.. KK Lose.. QQ Lose AK lose AQ lose 45 lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose. And your HUD is useless.. Pretty much more rigged bullshit. Dont play. -
Heh. Shoulda stayed away. KK loses all in preflop vs 992 (he had 2's and rivered quads) and AK lost to A10 even though I bet hard to a missed flop and he rivered his 10 to beat me....go figure.
ANYway...I may revisit but that's way too much variance in too short a timepan. Give you whiplash. -
whats really awesome is you can grind for 5minutes, then stop if you want. no need to wiat for big the blind, if you get a phone call, within 20seconds you are prolly sitout at all your tables. Pretty amazingly highly flexible.
See you at the RUSHHHH -
what the fuck did you expect the guy to do...fold his set??? you sound like the moron..
-
one word: Metallica
play it loud
4 table
you will own -
I assume you mean me, and no, I was just adding that he had hit quads on the river. Not that I wasn't beaten prior to that.
-
Made $60 in 5 minutes. Sweet.
-
flop queens full and just lost to a backdoor st flush.
fmylife.
