yeah i cant deposit and im pissed

Is this just going to make something like PT3 obsolete now at least with regards to the HUD?
-
Prediction: This is the snake of FTP eating it's own tail. Fish will go broke unbelievably quickly, won't be able to deposit and this pond dries up in like a month. Come March, it's a bunch of regs pushing chips back and forth.
-
I agree. Especially when you consider the tilt monkeys who can't blow off steam now by sitting out and insulting you in chat, so they will just spazz out and bust incredibly fast. Def see this as being all regs pretty quickly. A lot of the weaker players will probably feel like the action is too fast for them after a while and stop too.

lots of different opinions in this thread already, will have to give it a shot

Played about 50 hands. All I have to say is this is awesome. 6 max rocks
-
Until that happens I'll try to stay on the winning end of 631BB pots :)

Saw 176 hands in less than 20 mins... bought in for $50 ended with $106. I'm not really a cash game player so I won't be playin this that often, but for cash game players, I think this would be great for them because they increase their hands per hour, and in turn, their hourly rate. You can still click last hand and see the results of previous hands that you folded out of... Also, since you are constantly getting moved to new tables, if u are running a hud, or taking notes based on previous actions of players, this can be an extremely profitable game.

This seems like something that will be brought up in future poker website legislation debates. Something to the effect of, "One site even made it possible to increase the number of hands played per hour making the game even more fast-paced and addictive. In essence, the addicted player is acting so fast they don't even have time to think about stopping before their money is gone."
Just my .02
BTW, I played crazy-nitty for 20 minutes and turned $10 into $20 and I never play cash games ever. -
this is possibly one of the smartest, most innovative business ideas I've seen from FTP. They're essentially going to turn a shitload of recreational cash game fish, who normally only one-table, into multi-tablers. This is going to be an absolute goldmine for them in terms of profit. WP FTP.

lots of fun, especially 6 max

So I just found out about "Rush Poker" on Full Tilt and I'm loving it. However I'm trying to get some insight on what type of playing style I should adapt.
Should I play ultra aggressive since most people are probably playing pretty tight?
or
Should I play ultra tight since I get to play more hands and hae no info on the players? -
just broke even after 10 minutes in 6 max 10NL. Kinda fun. i'll prolly play again.
-
Would love for no one to talk about this. But, seems like that's not possible.

Long story short, instead of sitting at individual tables you join a pool of players, and then they're divided up into tables. As soon as your action is done on a hand, you are moved to a new table with all new players. It speeds up the gameplay a ton because you don't have to wait for the action to finish in a hand before you can get dealt a new one.

Anyone notice pokertableratings doesn't watch these tables, well at least my quick session hasn't appeared. FYI in case anyone cares.
-
My first impression is you have to play these pretty aggressive. In position open a lot and cbet a lot too. People press "quick fold" a lot hoping for a better starting hand. People won't fold high pocket pairs/AK so if you get your aces or hit your set it's bonanza.
-
I don't know I just got Poker Tracker working today so I'm new to it but I don't think it works with the Rush Tables. All I was able to do is import my personal results after the session.
-
The thing is they'll still play just as many hands to go broke (or even more cause they nit it up?) so in time value they'll go broke faster in regards to # of hands played to go broke it'll probably be the same or a few more

Doubt I'll be able to play IRL after playing these for a week -
5 thoughts/observations after two-tabling this for 20 minutes:
-this is fucking awesome.
-ftp has an absurdly intelligent business team in place in terms of finding ways to maximize profits.
-grinding these while listening to "Already Gone" off The Blueprint 3 on repeat might not be beatable.
-my computer froze 8 minutes into the session, and then again 14 mins in...it doesn't do well with animation.
-regular online mtts/cash are going to feel hellllllllla slow by comparison now, let alone teh live pokahs i'm about to go play... -
raise raise raise

Just playing a couple of tables is a repetitive motion injury in the making.
