  1. Just to give you a quick background, I am 36 years old and have been playing online for several years. I play 10/20 NL on every site and MTT's $100+. I read P5's and 2+2 but have never once posted anything. This situation propelled me to make my first post.

I withdrew 10k from FT last week and for years they have sent it to my bank account. They screwed up and sent it to Neteller.

My Neteller account had some fraud activity on it 2 yrs ago for the amount of $1,088.00 which was never resolved. I only use epassport, echecks and CC to send money to sites for past 2 yrs.

I contact FT and they tell me they screwed up and tried to get the money back. Neteller refused and said I owe them 1088. Neteller said they will send me a check for 8912. It was my only option offered.

    FT wrote me this email:

    Hello XXXXXX,

Thank you for emailing Full Tilt Poker Support.

You are completely correct, as we accept full responsibility for our
cashout error. If we could, we would definitely send your funds to you,
however our system is not set up in a way in which this would be
possible. Rest assured we understand your frustration and we are
working diligently to get this issue resolved. I have contacted a
senior cashier to further escalate your issue by contacting NETeller
    once again explaining your urgency.

Furthermore, I have credited your account with $55.00 as a token of our
appreciation for your patience. I understand that this does not
compensate for the funds you are yet to receive, but is simply a gesture
to show that we too are frustrated with this issue and we are trying our
bets to come to a resolution.

Again, I sincerely appologize for the inconvenience and frustration that
this has caused you. You will be notified as soon as we hear word from
    NETeller.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to
ask. Best of luck at the tables!

    Regards,

    Dustin

When I told them my Neteller problem they wrote:

    Hello XXXXX,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support. We have managed to
contact NETeller once again. We're pleased to report that it was much
faster this time. Unfortunately they are unable to verify that this
account was hacked. To be specific they are unable to discuss your
account with us in detail since we are not the account owners.

Unfortunately XXXXX, Full Tilt Poker cannot provide any resolution to
this matter if it cannot be verified by NETeller that this $1088
adjustment was the result of hacked or fraudulent activity.

We understand that we made a mistake, however, you will have to
deal with NETeller regarding your $1088.

With regards to your threat of posting your problem on message
boards, please know that we have a very strong standing with
    the online community.

Sorry for the long post, but does anyone have an idea what i can do?

also i think its very F'ed up how FT would treat a player who has been on their site for 3+ years.
  2. Sounds like youre just out $1088...hope you get it resolved...actually, out $1033, since they gave you $55 :-)

Seriously though, sounds like their fuckup might just cost you $1088.

  3. Did you screw netteller a couple years ago? Not that its relavent but Karma could be rearing it's ugly head on a past miscrpancy. I'd imagine FT would be willing to accomodate you further based on what pokerroom went through in a semi-similar situation. Try haggling with them viaa e-mail, try to get a phone # and talk to a real person and express your displeasure.
  4. Somehow You need to prove that the 1088$ was another persons doing or unfortunately they think you owe them that. Have you tried calling neteller instead of emailing?
Maybe if you speak to them in person there will be more details you can find out.

  5. Whats the point here? They made a mistake, admitted it, and tried to understand your frustration. If you would have gotten the neteller situation worked out there would have been no problem. Bad post, that is your problem.

    boke

  6. LOL $55.00 gee thanks FT

I'd be pissed too...they fuck up and say 'sorry our bad but we cant help you' and ship him a lousy 55 bones...pretty weak IMO.
  7. Looks like you f'up up not them. Should have cleaned up your mess from the past.
  8. LOL how can you guys say this was his fault? He said to FT "please send my money to the bank". FT sent the money to a debt-riddled Net Teller account...this is ALL on FT.

  9. I never screwed neteller. I barely used them. There was a problem with party poker and my Neteller acct 2 yrs ago where someone hacked into both my accts and basically tried to withdraw 1k (88 in fees) and i had to cancel my bank acct. Neteller claimed i owed them 1k and even though i showed them IP address documentation showing it wasnt me they still said it wasnt enough. I have played online and transfered 100's of k both ways and never ONCE had a problem on any site.

I have sent 27 emails to fulltilt i past 10 days re: problem and all they did was give me $55 and laugh at me basically.

  10. full tilt definitely does not have the best customer support, but in this instance they seem to be doing a fair job. Yes it is slightly their fault for sending it to Neteller, but you obviously had used Neteller with Full Tilt in the past. This seems to be a Neteller problem. Blame Neteller. Most people do not have 1k outstanding debts to companies. That should have been resolved. You are blaming the wrong party here.

  11. I agree with Boke 100%, you should have taken care of the neteller situation way before this happened

However, I am concerned that full tilt is withdrawing to the wrong processor. With the currently climate of the payment processors we all use being very tenuous at best it is crucial that the sites we play on only withdraw to the option we specify. If a withdraw happens to be processed to the wrong provider the player could at best be left with a hassle to get their money, at worst no chance of ever seeing it again.

Most likely you screwed Neteller and got what you deserve, but the way it happened worries me.
  12. I agree with the OP. FullTilt screwed up, they should be responsible for that money, they sent it to the wrong processor. That is absolute bullshit. That's like saying they are not responsible for the money if they do an EFT to the wrong bank account. No way are they in the clear here.

Full Tilt's strong standing with the online community just weakend a little if they are not responsible for where they send your money!
  13. How exactly did FTP treat you so bad? They cashed you out using the wrong method, admitted their mistake, and sent you $55 as a mea culpa. That sounds reasonable to me.

The fact that you still owed Neteller $1088 has nothing to do with Full Tilt. If you're expecting them to cover the extra dime, well, keep on expecting. Good luck with that.

  14. Neteller couldnt come to an agreement with me over the fraud activity even though my bank clearly saw it and so did party poker. We went back and forth for months and nothing happened. 1k was not really worth me ending my relationship with neteller but out of principle i couldnt see doing anything but.

Bottom line is FT sent my $$$ to the wrong place and it cost me $1088, not to mention the fee to get the 9K off neteller and the fact i have to wait 8 weeks for a check.

When you have a mortgage, wife and 2 kids, 10k is a lot of money.

  15. Got what he deserved? Are you fucking retarded? If your boss sent your check to your exwife by accident, did you deserve it? WTF is wrong with you people.

  16. To be honest with you, from how it looks from my perspective, you had screwed neteller at some point out of 1088 dollars , most likely via instacash withdrawal, cause if there was a fraud issue you wouldn't owe them money and you would have pursued getting your money back. It appears that you decided to not pursue anything. furthermore you threaten fulltilt with spreading bad words of them on sites you never contribute to. this is your first post ever on this site and you are only using pocketfives to try to talk smack about a reputable site. i believe that fulltilt apologized for the mistake , but it seems to me at least that because of your shady dealings with neteller in the past has caused this problem, and neteller is just keeping money that is rightfully theirs and at least they are not charging you interest on the money you stole from them in the past.

this is just my opinion of course but the part in the letter about you saying you will go to message board and post negative things that at the time you threatened them in you email you were not even a member of this site yet. sounds fishy to me.
  17. i hadnt used neteller on FT for 2 yrs and when the fraud situation occurred i emailed bodog, UB, FT, PP and PS asking not to use my NETeller acct ever bc of the fraud situation. I had made a total of 49 withdrawals from FT in past 18 months and all went to my bank.

IMO its as if they sent my money to a friend of mine and were like "whoops, go get it from him!"

Just adds more hassle to my life that I dont need.
    Thread Starter
  18. You write a brag post then you tell p5's you scammed neteller a while back for $1088.00?
  19. "My Neteller account had some fraud activity on it 2 yrs ago for the amount of $1,088.00 which was never resolved. I only use epassport, echecks and CC to send money to sites for past 2 yrs."

A little more info on the above would be helpful. If someone hacked your computer (In any way) than they would have concluded it's your mess, not Neteller's. If you just decided that you weren't going to pay them, "Nothing you can do to me" than thats Karma coming back to you.
An email to FTP two years ago asking to remove all Neteller information would have helped.

You also might want to check with a credit reporting agency as this 'collection' would definitely appear as a negative score. You can usually negotiate with a creditor to have the negative mark removed (In return for payment) but once payment has been made you lose all your leverage.
  20. after so many emails it was my last course of action......... i honestly felt i could do nothing more.

and dont forget, i cashed out 10k. the 1k isnt what matters. its more about the way a site treated a player. i have a full-time job and have been successful playing cards. im a scared new york jew who when he sees a site f'ing over a player this way, felt it was necessary to share. believe me, i will never play their again. not saying you should do the same, but just letting people know what happened to a semi-higher stakes player that gave a site a ton of biz.

  21. No, it's like they sent your money to a bank that you owed money to. Or to a friend you owed money to. Or whatever other analogy you want to use where you owe the third-party money.

I feel bad if you were actually a victim of fraud and now it's biting you. Lesson learned about leaving debts and problem accounts unresolved, I suppose.

  22. B O K E im really suprised at yours and others response to this. First of allwhy does he have get "The Neteller situation worked out" if he never plans on using them again. (This point of view is with Neteller making the mistake and him not owing anything to them) He said he tried for months to get it resolved and it didnt work. I wouldve said F Neteller and moved on also. 4+ months of agravation isnt worth the 1k.

2nd of all how can people say that this isnt Full Tilts Responsability to get back or pay back. The email clearly states from FT that they are the ones RESPONSIBLE for the mistake. Its like I purchased something but it got shipped to the wrong house and the seller realizes they screwed up. The seller wont say well go to the persons house it was shipped to and get it back!!!

FULL TILT is resposible and should send the full 10k to him. There should be no question about it.
  23. "believe me, i will never play their again."

    O'RLY? cya next week
  24. str8frush is right about you never posting here before. You could be batting for the other team.

Can you do something to legitamize your post so that we know this is true?
  25. Horrible!

FT should absolutely give you your $1000.

I wish I had an answer for you but all I can say is that for them to be making millions, admit it was their mistake, and not give you the money they caused you to lose is sickening.

I hope you close your account and never let them make another penny off you.
  26. Well... in the three plus years I've been playing on Full Tilt, they have never sent money directly to a bank account. I always had to withdraw via check or some type of online payment processor.

Sounds like Neteller (who I thought was shut down) got theirs, and you got the rest
  27. if you PM me i can fwd you the 40+ emails i had between me and FT if you dont believe me.
    Thread Starter
  28. How is everyone missing FTP claimed the RESPONSIBILITY in the email. Therefore it is there RESPONSIBILITY to clean it up. Not give $55 for their $1088 mistake!
  29. it seems to that both full tilt and netteller bare a bit more responsibility than either are taking.

If your funds were clearly requested to be paid to you through a specific vendor and they weren't then full tilt should bare some obligation to you in regard to your funds in question. Funds should have never been transferred to netteller.

as for netteller, you should have closed your account if there was fraud and notified all the sites that you have cancelled your account with them.

netteller should also bare responsibility to prove that the funds in fact went to an account that you own when the alleged fraud happened. if they can't they should eat the loss

hope this some how works out for you
  30. whether or not you guys know who i am or like me, those 2 emails i posted are from FT and make up 95% of my post. i was just showing you guys what FT wrote to me with a basic background.

they admitted they f'ed up, they sent me $55 and told me to go take care of it on my own.
