Full tilt software is garbage

    Anybody else think Full tilt is awful. If you happen to disconnect all other sites reconnect about 5 minutes before tilt even begins to try and connect. Freezes approx every 15 minutes and has to be restarted. Anybody else have these problems or is my version bunk?

    not sure about the dissconnect thing, but overall full tilt has the best software imo

    ok...i'll try reinstalling it and see if it helps...i figured everyone had those problems...it's horrible...it literally disconnects and just sits there while stars and internet explorer works perfectly fine

    y im not sure what that is , i never have problems , ever , and full tilt software kills all other software for sure

    I don't remember ever having a problem with FTP's software, either on a PC or a Mac.

    Well, your computer is obviously terrible but I also think FTP slows down my computer way too much and is prone to freezing way more than stars. It also takes up alot more of my system resources.

    Mine always freezes on "FOLD" or "BIG BLIND" etc. and I can't see my chipstack until it is my turn. So annoying, have to close the table and open it again to fix it

    I'll take Pstars over FTP any day. Not sure how people can say ftp is the best software

    If you have a crappy computer, Pstars software is better. If you don't have a crappy computer, FT is better. Pstars has less graphics and functionality, and thus uses less memory.

    Yep. lately FTP software consumes more than 2x as much memory as anything else. That's a lot worse then it was even a month ago.

    If you are taking poker even semi seriously plz get a half decent PC it really doesnt take much to run these sites, If a site is slowing down your computer it is time to upgrade. You can get something for $500-$1000 that will run every site you want at the same time while playing music, watching youtube and posting on p5s.

    From what I can tell most people who have problems with poker sites are running Macs (over priced POS's), just get a dell or some reliable PC and you will have no problems ever.

    anyone else getting lag from full tilt's new software?? its using more memory by far than any other program, including itunes, firefox, or stars. almost unusable.

    i was getting the freeze ups as well but my drive fried and i reformatted with vista...

    are u running windows 7? thats what i was running when i was having problems, and yet now i havent noticed any freezes since my reformat.

    i hate full tilt because of what they make you go through to take your money out.

    i send them a copy of my driver's license now they say they need a copy of a bill also wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    no it seems to be fine on windows 7 (laptop) but i avoid playing too many tables on it. it may just have to do with multitabling, and my desktop is running xp and having a hard time keeping up.

    its ridiculous full tilt is taking up 233k memory when itunes and firefox (37 and 31) are usually the biggest memory hogs by far. stars is 15k mem. WTF FTP?
