this is bull shit, why is everyone refunded their money, most of tourney's running were very deep, it makes no sense that everyone would just get their buy in back, its almost ridiculous, hey gambleab if you see this and you have pull with these guys could you tell them this is utterly absurd and they need to fix it to be like party or stars where they give you a percentage of the prizepool based on chips, especially for MTT's 1 or 2 places out of the money, its just stupid, everyone just email them and tell them how ridiculous this rule really is and how no real site would do this
Hello,
Thank you for your email. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Our game servers are temporarily down for emergency maintenance. We
should be back up and running between 16:30 - 17:30 ET.
If you were involved in a game prior to the outage, your account will
be
credited according to the following rules.
If you were seated at a table, the following will occur:
- If you were "in the money" in a tournament (or S&G), then the
tournament will be paid out according to your chip position at the time
of the disconnect. If you were the chip leader in the tournament at the
time of the disconnect, you will win first place and be credited with
the money.
- If you were not "in the money", everyone in the tournament (including
those who busted early) will be refunded the full buyin for the event.
- If you were involved in a cash game hand, and would have lost money,
we have credited your account with the amount you would have lost. If
you would have won the hand, your account was credited with the total
amount you would have won.
You can always find the status of our game servers at the following
link: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/systemStatus.php
We certainly do apologize for the inconvenience, and are working on
ways
to improve our network service to be more redundant, secure and stable.
We appreciate your patience and patronage at Full Tilt Poker.
Regards,
Andrew

if i remember correctly, at least on party, they give everyone left their buy in back, and based on the remaining prizepool they give you a percentage based on chips, which is obviously the most logical way of going about it either way, how on earth would it be right to void the whole thing 2 hours in and give everyone who has lost their money back, it just doesn't make any sense

Yea, seems strange to give everyone who busted their money back. i'd prefer to take care of it.

go ahead

I guess them's the rules =/
