    I am going to reach Gold Iron Man Status this month without clearing my iron man half year bonus. I only reached iron man status 3 of the 6 months so it's not even that big of a bonus. The half year bonus is not a bonus, its a gimmick to get players to double or triple their volume.

    Also, during happy hour, the extra points don't count towards clearing the bonus.

    FTP really cares about its customers....

    BTW - FTP gave me nothing for double charging my bank account on a single echeck deposit after it took over two weeks to resolve.

    It's not free. You earn it and then you have to double/triple your volume to clear it.

    It is a bonus. They do not have to give you anything. You do not need to tripple your volume to clear it, it is not that diffiuclt. If you do not clear it you still get it prorated back to you at whatever volume you play. So yes, you still get some free money.

    Most people have to triple their volume in order to clear the full bonus.

    i got a nice bonus and i played much less volume the last 2 months than my norm, and yes its been cleared too.

    Example

    To get gold status you need 100 points/day for 25 days = 2500 points. If you do that for 6 months you need 15000 points. That will earn you a bonus of $300. You need 20 points per dollar to clear so you have to get 6000 points in one month (over double your normal clear rate for the month).

    But even with your reasoning, thats fine. IF you play your normal volume of 2500 points per/mo minimum(most people that play 25 days to get gold status will play more than 2500) than you will still get a prorated amount of your bonus based on the volume you were able to play. Of course tilt is trying to get you to play more hours, why wouldn't they, they are a business. But they are still giving you money for free. I don't see how this is a bad thing.

    Yeah, $450 is correct. Bolded part is not. If they play more, many are probably not at gold status anymore but getting the next higher level.

    Free money is still cool though.

    F rewards programs. there has been more money lost trying to reach Iron Man or SuperNova status than the prizes or bonuses are worth. Some guys play too many tables and play above what their BR allows just to get these bonuses and many times end up losing money. Just play the games at the sites that are profitable for you.

    This is so true. A player could put in huge volume and recieve nothing but a bunch useless FTP points.

    Aaaaaand, when you use FTP points to get something from the store, they subtract $1 for every 200 points....so ur pretty much paying for whatever you buy anyway.....Fucking scam artists

    what pisses me off is the fact i can get 1500-3500 points a day and miss iron man because i took 1 day off to many, so to avoid this i have to try and play late the night when im taking the next day off to try for the 200 points the next morn, which is stupid because i forget a lot.

    with my volume there is no reason i shouldnt always be iron man, and i only made gold last 2 months...
