Recently at a local casino was waiting for an open seat in the $15/30 limit game so i sat down at the 2/4 to waste some time. A regular who i don't know by name but have seen for years is at the table with huge stacks in front of him. I get the seat next to him the guy is in his mid 50s', looks western euro or russian, speaks broken english, and is always fun to play with (down for side bets ect...) so a few hands in there is a huge multi-way pot for a 2/4 game with about 7 callers(i am not in the hand) so everything is getting capped and he is raising away. Dude ends up with a straight flush and goes nuts, right after he won it he lights a cig and starts smoking away (its a smoke free poker room) dealer and everyone else looks in shock and the guy puts the cig out right on the felt hahaha, looks at me and laughs... huge burn mark on the table, that made my day

There used to be some crazy asian players at my local casino who would play 5/10 and higher and straddle aipf every single hand, usually bust and just dig into their pockets for a rebuy. I binked about 8k when I went on a heater and caught AA 3 times in 2 orbits. Weeeeeeeeeeeee

because some casinos allow a mississippi straddle

1. It was uncapped pre

2. No limit to the the straddle
3. As I mentioned, there were crazy asian guys (i.e. more than one, usually about 2-4 if u want to be precise and they all did it) -
I played at Commerce once and some Asian guy did the same thing!! He kept going all in blind every hand (I dunno if its called a straddle or not) but even out of turn he would put his 2-300, lose, ask for 50 bucks back then rebuy and do it all again. Then some dummy won a ton of him and only gave him 5 back so he left. Buzzkillington!

At the Hustler in Gardena one day.... true story... the guy next to me in a $1 - $2 no limit table gets dealt his cards.. he starts to shake almost uncontrollably.. he stands up and pulls off his hoodie... and in the highest pitch nervous voice you can imagine he announces at least five times that he has Aces.... knocks over his chips and does a full 360... He was UTG and announces all in..... well.... he gets one caller for about $100.00 and wins a hundred.. he can barely sit back down. I was like... WTF are you doing... why are you telling everyone what you have??? before I can get my words out.. he is now in bb and players haven't even acted... very next hand.... he begins to shake again.. and again announces he has aces... I'm telling him to shut up but he totally can't control himself.. well.. everyone folds into him this time and he flips it over and sure enough... once again has aces... I'm like wtf are you doing? why are you announcing your cards? He just looks at me like I'm an idiot and say "i had aces... i had aces... aces.... " It got a bit awkward after that...

Dealer told him he couldn't leave it out there but he pushed all in for next 6 hands and left with nothing
