  1. Gambling911 reports that epassporte closed to poker sites due to a new investigation by the feds. The heat is back on online poker.
  2. I've withdrawn around 900 to my bank account this week from Epass, any chance I ever see it in my bank account? Anyone know?
  3. This is NOT a neteller situation.

Epassporte will pay you your money. Please do not sound the tin foil hat brigade, there is no reason to do so at this time.

The ONLY thing Epassporte has said they will no longer do is make transactions with poker or gambling sites.
  4. How do you know this is not another Neteller? Do you have inside info or what?

  5. Well, how about some common sense, and I am not trying to be rude.

The statements that the poker sites as well as Epassporte themselves had put out there are that they are no longer doing transactions with gambling sites. They chose to do this so that they could continue to serve US customers. Seems pretty obvious to me that they have no intention of leaving the market.

Neteller, did not want to stop doing business with gambling or poker sites so they pulled out of the US.

Those two situations do not, in anyway, appear to be the same.
  6. Banks are going to be the toughest ones to get to, but eventually it will be gg online poker in the U.S. Probably still have a year to two years tho, possibly half year.
  7. What percent of epassporte's business in gambling related? My guess would be probably 95-99%. What other reason would someone need them for? If they pulled out it's obvious to me there's a big problem!

  8. Who cares what % of their business is with Poker players? What does that have to do with anything?

I'm sorry, but perhaps I am in a bad mood... your post is just totally negative and is nothing but you trying to assume things that are just negative.

Your point has nothing, nothing at all, to do with regulations that could negatively affect a business. Epassporte has decided that they do not wish to jeopardize their business model. If their choice is facing being shut down from a market entirely, or cutting off one area of revenue, do you really think they would just leave the market? That is poor business, period.

The percentage of profit from poker does not matter... not one bit.

Please, keep up the negativity, its always helpful.

I have a headache, I have not had a good morning, thus the tone of my message. Being negative for the sake of being negative is counter productive, period.

Just have sites send you a real check, like I always do... you can always cash it at a check place if you are worried about your bank.
  9. you sound like a miserable human being jester
  10. Actually if what he is saying is true, if it did make up 99% of their business this would be a HUGE problem for people that still have alot of money on there. He is just trying to figure out if they are just going to shut down now as company or just eliminate connection with poker sites.
  11. Guessing what % has no bearing on the situation, whatsoever.
  12. I agree. If there wasn't a problem with the government potentially coming

after Epassporte, then there wouldn't be any reason for them to stop transactions

to poker sites. What did they think was going to happen back when they stepped

in after the Neteller debacle? This BS all goes back to one thing,,,,the government

not getting their cut of the pie. So instead of trying to figure out a way to regulate

online poker they'll just do what they normally do which is screw everyone because

they can't control the situation at the present. Next they'll probably pass a law requiring

isp's to block access to online poker sites. Maybe our leaders figure if they keep us

from playing online poker we'll be able to afford the $4 a gallon gas that's coming this

    summer. F'N Idiots,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
  13. You can't figure out that if a company loses most of it revenue stream then it's probably going to close up shop. If you have money in epassporte good luck getting it out.

  14. ORLY? They have opened up their finances to you? You have intricate understanding as to all of their revenue streams?

You believe that the US is the one and only source of revenue for that business? Thats nice, perhaps you would like to post the specifics as to the revenue streams that you have such intricate knowledge of then. I'd sure be interested in viewing them.

My parents taught me that when you assume things... you make an ass out of u and me. Until such time as it is apparent that epassporte has no intentions of serving the US for transactions outside of poker, I will happily say you are right. Until such time as that occurs, I am going to call out all those who choose to make statements without knowledge of the specifics of the situation.
