At least 10,000 tournaments since then... Let's break that down. That is AT LEAST 4 tournaments EVERY SINGLE DAY for 6.8 years. No thanks; put a bullet in me please.

He plays all across the board though from 7-card stud to Omaha Hi to OMaha Hi/Lo and NL Hold em right? Although he has lost money on stars and ub in the last few months*, he gets a ton of experience which probably helped him to win that WSOP braclet this year.

How do you figure he is losing money?
-
Buy-ins add up.. especially in the $500 and $200 entries.
-
No, Gank is not hurting for money, he won around $200,000+ at the WSOP this past year, but he has lost some of it on stars and UB.com.
-
Hello everyone! Mr. Walrus, I am glad to have you as a follower of my game! However, it is not nice to mis inform the public. Yes, I play a lot of events, including $200 and $500 buyins. Yes they do add up, but I assure you, that a losing player, could not afford to play all the games I play a day. Also, to clear up your confusion, I did not win $200,000 in the WSOP, as I have ALWAYS had a backer who puts me into ALL live events. I also haven't "lost quite a bit of it on stars and UB", as I am almost strictly a Tourney player. I have not been playing on UB and stars that much, as I have found a nice little softspot on party. You will still see me in some of the bigger tourneys at both, but that will probably be about it. And remember you guys......
DONT HATE THE PLAYER, HATE THE GAME!

HaHa, i was hoping you would reply dude.. that was the whole reason I was posting this mess, Of course I have almost no clue how much you win/lose. Good job this past year at the WSOP. I have seen you in LA once too, you seem pretty relaxed at the tables.
Without going into detail... after your backers, what do you get? Is all ur online play just for your own bankroll?
PS -- What is your name on partypoker by the way? -
lmfao walrus. "HaHa, i was hoping you would reply dude.. that was the whole reason I was posting this mess, Of course I have almost no clue how much you win/lose." what kind of a back pedal is that? are you saying that you were posting info that you had completely no idea about in order to get brett to post on here? man...you gotta stop replying to every single thread on here. you're not making sense anymore.
-
how come you're no longer in the crew?
-
I dont think he will answer that, he didnt really take kindly to me asking about his finances either, huh gank? Thanks for being a sport about it though, I saw you doing well inthe stars $11 rebuy today. GL there.
The 2004 WSOP with Brett's win was JUST on espn with fish and dutch patting him on the head. -
this is the interview. it's a fairly short read, and mostly about the final stretch of the 2004 Cardplayer of the year race, but some interesting points anyway.

Gank, how come you're no longer in the crew?

He got kicked out. He and Dutch are no longer on good terms.

Here is an article I wrote about this subject on recpoker not too long ago. I post under ThreeBetBrett there. make sure you see two t's in Brett as their is an imposter posting with 1 t. I want to make it clear I left the crew because I did not want to be associated with Dutch Boyd in any way shape or form.
<HR>
I left the Crew because Dutch Boyd turned out to be maybe the most untrustworthy person I have ever come in contact with. I left The Crew days after the WSOP in 2004. The reason that I have been posting about Dutch's affiliation with ZeroRake.com recently, is because I just found out about it. Make no mistake about it, I left The Crew, when we were on top, and I turned down a lot of money by walking away, and was not kicked out as some believe. Dutch may no longer have stake in zerorake, as it has been nothing but a failure, as many people realized what I failed to do, it was Dutch's site. A site that he was creating while basically freeloading on my play, since we shared bankrolls. A business plan used, that I had helped with my Intellectual property through numerous meetings and discussions, but without my knowledge of it being implemented in any cardroom.
Dutch, please do not tell me to get over it, cause I assure you as long as you try to persuade people that you are trustworthy and reliable and ethically sound, I will continue to inform them about the things that you did to me and caution them in doing their homework before getting involved in business with you. You have always been able to continue in your coniving ways, telling people what they want to hear with out ever having the intention to do it. You burn bridges with everyone you ever become, or think you become friends with, but everyone previous felt it was in their best interest to just exclude you out of their life, and not tell their stories. Well guess what Dutch, you fucked the wrong guy, because I assure you I have no problem investing my time and energy in helping the public understand who you truly are.

Anyone know why Brett is out of the crew?
Below is a posted response from Dutch Boyd addressing a previous post by Brett.
Gank and ZeroRake
"A former crewmember, Brett Jungblut (aka gank), posted recently on rec.gambling.poker that I was involved with a site called ZeroRake.com. A lot of people have been asking about it, so I thought I'd address it.
The statement is simply untrue. ZeroRake.com was run by an outfit in Vancouver called Las Vegas From Home. They are the same people behind Action Poker. I'm somewhat familiar with them because I met the president, Jake, a few years ago at a gaming industry conference in Toronto. They tried to launch a cardroom without a rake a few months ago, and it failed miserably. I downloaded the software once or twice, but never played there because there were never any games going. Beyond that I didn't have any further involvement in the site.
I don't know where Brett got his information from, but the way he talks it makes me think he's wearing an aluminum-foil hat right now. You're out of the crew, bro... it's natural to be chewing on some sour grapes. But get over it, man, and focus on your own bad self instead of spending time on my shit." -
Thanks for clearing that up. Dutch's reply is the link I have there. So how do you know he was involved with zerorake.com when he adamantly denies it?
-
not sure about this www.zerorake.com but i do remember reading about dutch's "history" in the online poker world. i managed to find the link
