  5. TID Frank!

  6. pretty sick turnaround ere, seems to me he shoulda pushed a bit harder to wrap up a deal 3 handed, even if he had to sacrifice a few k from the original offer

    hope he wins tho, gl
  7. dont understand turning down 208.6k when winning leaves u only ~2k short of what 1st originally paid....

One of the dumbest things I have ever seen at a FT.

He lucked out big time. If JJ held against 33, he would have lost about 98 K because he wanted an extra 2 K. Unreal stupid.

  9. lol.. again.
  10. only a 16.6k mistake zzzzzzzz
  11. MBN makes a mistake by not taking the deal then 2 outers his way to making up for it.
  12. Someone fill in the details? Who didn't take what deal...? Results?

  13. is that an error by nacho in the chat afterwards?
    192 to gator
    215 to romdom

[edit]shit.. nevermind.. it is an error by him.. it's 225k to romdom

Reason: ***** or am i missing something?
  14. Frank was the chip leader when the numbers were being proposed. I think they offered him 208 and romdom like 190 something and the other guy actually only got a little more then third place. He said he wanted 215 instead romdom said ok and the other dood bigbadbandit was like no way am I giving up another 5k cause that would pretty much be me getting 3rd place with only a slim chance of coming back for first to win the other 30k.. So they played on..

I really doubt BBB was going to take the deal anyways I watched the deal making and it seemed like he was getting the shaft and pretty much just getting 3rd place money anyways with a chance at 30 when he was down like 4-1 in chips 3 handed....

Either way I lold when Frank asked for 192 instead of 191 hahahah.. I laughed even harder when the other guy was like well i shipped the 11r earlier today so yea no prob hahaha

  15. Frank probably made a mistake not taking the original deal. He just felt he was the far superior player and wanted to get as much as he could. In all of the talk about how lucky he got to not end up 3rd nothing is mentioned about how 2 hands after they restarted he had the shorter stack all in with kj vs k7 and the guy doubled up, and then 2 hands later he got all in against the bigger stack with aq vs 1010 and lost a coinflip. The second deal he was offered 189.7k and negotiated for 192k......either way congrats Frank!

The shortstack verbally accepted the first deal immediately (which was obv horrible for him), and Romdom stalled for a while and considered giving Gator more money (which was also bad for him). Then the shortie changed his mind. The other other people would have accepted the stars deal. The proposed deal was amazing for Gator, because if he won he only gave up $2,000, while he was assured of an extra $98,000 if he busted in third place. It is history now, but there is no doubt that his decision at the FT to push for a few extra thousand was a very bad decision. I really don't know what he was thinking.
  20. I agree with ya clearly pgh.
