So I started grinding the 6.50$ 45man sit n gos on PS and did pretty good. Obv I was on a little heater, but I think I had an edge in the endgame and played a good push/fold game.
After looking through some hand histories I wondered if there is any strategy for the early/midgame, with blinds <100 and no antes.
I didnt really knew what to do with hands like A10/AJ off in mid/mid-late position facing a raise before me (with no reads) or what to do with hands like 99 - JJ early position within the first 2 blindlevels. if i bet 4big blinds I always end up getting 2-4 callers, 1 overcard, contibet and gave up on the turn after 1-2callers of my c-bet. so i ended up folding them pre sometimes or baiscally just setmine expect i hit a 3 7 2-ish flop.
So is there any general strategy guide or article?
And if not, any suggestions from 45turbo grinders on this particular situations? -
well not a 45 man grinder but i know you get to push fold quick, so I think you gotta play ABC poker early. AJ, A10 in late to mid position are most always folds after someone raises in the micros. riase your big hands 99-JJ etc in early position and maybe be a little easier Cbetting OOP. also maybe mix in some limps with speculative hands even set mine more. but who knows, i'm high as a kite.

I've played close to 2000 of these including 12s and 6.50s with solid results. Super tight early. I wouldn't be c-betting into more than one opponent with an overcard on the flop. I also think minraising or tripling it pre works better than 4x. If you get a lot of callers, look for the set and get paid off big. Once blinds get up, its mainly push fold. If you don't get called a donk every once in awhile, youre probably pushing too tight. Abuse the bubble if you have a stack. Try to preserve your FE, remember, it's not about getting it in good its about getting people to fold/running good when they don't. I hope that made sense, I might post more later.
