  1. Ok, so I did join this site primarily to learn how to crush MTT's and I am doing so in the Micro limits on FT and PS until I build up to play larger limits.

Once I felt content with my tournament/all around play I started playing cash again in Micros, pretty much just breaking even. Ive watched most of the Cash Vids here and got Poker Tracker and saw I was playing a little to loose, tighted up, made a little...
Then yesterday nothing went right lost a bunch, got lured into HU...again made it all back, played to much and lost it all + more. I realize there is variance/bad beats/losing days, especially HU, I can take that just fine, but I would love to learn how to beat cash so I can play that and build bankroll when I dont have time for MTT's.
I just need to know if investing into another site like Cardrunners specifically for cash games is worth it, or If I should just give up, at least for now and just keep focusing on MTT's.
  2. I think it depends on the limits. If you aren't at least playing 25nl then cardrunners isn't for you. It's too expensive. Higher than that it seems reasonable. You can also get cardrunners by getting 5500 ftps in one month in fulltilt. Good luck with whatever you decide
  3. Ive recently started putting in a lot of time learning and playing cash games because I am planning to make the switch to them...

Some of the things I have noticed I do is trying to stack people in every pot I am in and not caring enough about the small pots. You should be trying to win all the small pots to make money and the big pots are just the icing on the cake when they do come up, but don't force it.

flatting too many 3bs oop.... flatting too many marginal hands when you should just 3b or fold.

CR is a great way to go imo... it is more for higher stakes cash games but you can still learn...

Also everything I have said is from playing 1/2 6max... so I could be way off on the thought process for what you're playing, idk.

  4. try playin the shallow stacks (40bb cash games) which are stacks most mtt players are going to be more familiar with anyway
