What would you do at this point?

If I flat, I disguise my hand but then what do I do on the turn. I don't think checking to him on the turn is an option since it gives him chance for a free card, but I'm not sure he bites if I bet into him again.

    Here is the rest..

    ace_this: raises 1200 to 2400
    romsk1: folds
Uncalled bet (1200) returned to ace_this
    ace_this collected 3525 from pot

Just wondering how any of you would play it..

    thanks for you input...
  2. That's what I'd do, to be honest. Your line, I mean.

What do you do if a scary heart comes?
  3. I agree to not let him draw cheaply to a flush, even though that's not what I was really worried about. My line just makes me look so strong that maybe AJ is even folding

I was just upset that I lost him & wondered how I could get more value out of the hand.
    Thanks for your opinion.

  4. You may well be right.

Ok, so we flat-call the flop. Do we set alarm bells off here because we raised pre, c-bet AND flat-called a raise? What do you do if a non-heart hits? Check and let him take a stab? What do you do if a heart hits?

Serious questions to get discussion going here.
  5. Please never flat call the flop in this spot. That is not the kind of line you want to take with a set on such a cooridnated flop. Just shove the rest in
  6. Don't ever be upset you took a pot down. You got him to reraise you on the flop and then dumped his hand. You won the hand. If you let him get more cards, it is going to be a heart ache when he goes runner runner. If he had the flush draw he calls you after he put in the raise so it was a good play with no worries to sweats and he did not have much anyway so you probally got max value at his play on the flop to steal it.
