  1. The last week or so it seems like I am not getting a lot of action preflop when i get big starting hands or post-flop when i hit sets or what-not and I am getting 3-bet a ton when i have marginal starting hands or I am just trying to steal blinds. Now I know that getting sucked out on is considered variance and what-not, but is hardly ever getting action when you wan it part of variance also?
  2. def part of variance

could also be ur playing way to tight and ppl know u have a big hand when u raise.

with all the HUDs out there its possible

  3. Well i try to vary my game dependiing on the table/buyin/stats of opponents etc. I am a small-ball player so I raise a lot of hands especially when i have a good stack. One thing that has killed me lately is i think that I have 3-bet in the blinds with AQ a bit more and have run into AK about 10 times over the last 2 weeks...

  6. I used to have that problem when I was über-TAG.

btw, getting too many good hands/running good is variance too.
  7. Thx Darko for your post that really added something to this thread. That time of the month maybe?

  10. Def part of variance. If you are a nit, that contributes too tho.
