Same boat as you Dave. Took my money off this past Friday.

Still has a place in my heart but it says something when I have rakeback there and I'd rather not play the site.

My check did get to my today though, which is the fastest I've ever received a check from any site fwiw.

I actually want to play there but cant cause im from Canada. I always heard the 100K got a massive overlay but probably not anymore with the 163 bi.

in the same boat...used to be my main site. not for mtt's though. never really found any worth while except the sunday major and that nightly 8:30pm one. right now im on the biggest downswing ever playing cash. u know u hit rock bottom when u lose 8s9s on a 8c9c7c5s9h board to TcJc.

also the 4 table max thing, software, and short stack nits, tilts me altogether. gg bodog.

Bodog remains a nice occasional distraction. Poker hasn't been a priority for a few years (even before Calvin left it was slipping).

The thing that I still like about Bodog is that it has the fewest cheaters (because they can't do P2P transfers).

Then bodog can start upping the guars.

Don't worry Dave, Bodog isn't going anywhere. They still have a decent program there. Our checks are getting to us at lightening speed. And they aren't bouncing from what I hear.

AM I the only one that would rather play a $100 $100k with $40k overlay then a $160 $100k with ZERO overlay? You'd have almost the same number of runners in either case and have a much bigger expected return in the overlay example. The only good thing abut this change is that they changed the structure. It's now 5k start stack 15 minute levels vs 2.5 start stack 15 minutes previously.

asdfhasdklfjh i kinda like the sounds of that new structure.... too late now hah. still kinda meh to keep money on a site that u only play 1 tourn a week on idk.

Bodog was my favorite site for years. Started playing there in 2004. When I couldn't win on party and stars or paradise or anywhere in the beginning, I made tens of thousands on bodog. It payed for my electrical engineering degree, hell the old school 100 percent bonus on every deposit paid mortgage.

But after the law changes it was all downhill, with the bounced checks, and the casual sports betting crowd leaving it was time to go.

I will have great memorys of you bodog, bodoglife, bodogxxxx and thank you for keeping my head above water. And I know my fellow pug lover Bon will always like the dog.

With all that said, bodog is not worth playing anymore unless you can catch David Williams playing 5-10 PLO drunk.

There will still be overlay in just about every tourney...

Don't get me wrong, i'm all for overlays. But you have to look at the bigger picture. If filling up the 100k brings more people to the site, then they can start upping their guars and maybe even adding tournies. Slow process, but hopefully it works.

Also, the new structure to the 100k is a nice step. I know i'll be playing it every week.

I'm playing the 15k right now and then I'm done. I knew this was the last night. I've been there since the beginning but its dead now. The only mtt were the 100k and 8 30 now there is nothing. The 30R used to be a 10k and now is a 3k. Thats horrible. I'll miss all the OLD SCHOOL regs but the little bit I still have there will be gone. GL guys.

For all the regs, NIckdodoublegee is gone forever also. His wife is moving in tomorrow so you probably won't see either one of us again. GL to all

Yeah I got a check in something like 3 days and it didn't bounce. Unfortunately now I have $8 left on bodog and not really sure how to build a roll up there with that.

I used to have mixed feelings about Bodog and wanted to put money into other sites. However, the way I see it is, if you can win consistently on any website, why would you ever want to leave?

I would only want to leave a poker site if I was a LOSING player. Money is money...that overrides the MTT's/structures/guarantees. Bottom line is, just win consistently and you wouldn't have to worry about the guarantees, ect..

Plus, I'm a sportsbook junkie and Bodog is the only poker site that has this.

Unless someone can GUARANTEE that I win on other poker sites, I'll still be a BODOG REGULAR.
