  1. i have recently had a realization which will hopefully end my current trend of bubbling 62,157 final tables every month... there IS such a thing as cashing too much! for example it us much more difficult to FT 3/3 times in a 300 person tourney than it is for someone to win 1/3 times and come in last the other 2/3. HOWEVER it is significantly more profitable to do the former. theoretically a player that has been cashing too much should have taken some more risks which would ensure a deeper finish or have them not cash at all. its important to adopt this "go hard or go home" attitude where the goal is to win not to cash. Tell me how you like to employ this strategy in your game and maybe even give specific scenarios where one might choose between the more agressive/go hard strategy or a more conservative/just cash strategy.

  5. I play mostly lower limit MTT's and have been pretty succesful lately with several final tables and about a 40% win rate when I do FT. I tend to turn up the aggressiveness right before the bubble and keep the pedal down all the way to the FT. Make the other players make decisions for all of their chips.

  6. My general strategy is to play the best that i can (obv) for the first hour or two, and then evaluate what i need to do from there. There are basically 3 categories.

    1) I'm short....its push fold time and i need to get chips and have no problem shoving with a wide range
    2) I'm a middle stack, here i try to look for good opportunities to gather chips but play fairly conservative.
    3) I'm a large stack, here i tend to play more aggressive especially the closer we get to the money bubble

Personally, i think it is very important to "go big" and not be afraid to bubble. I found that when i was a lower limit player i would try to fold to make the money and this resulted in a lot of bubbles and weak cashes but few final tables.

Now that that has been said, I would also like to stress bankroll management. If you use proper BR management then you it should not scare you to bubble in a tourny and you wont play scared!

    Hope that helps and GL
