1. posted in hand discussion, but couldn't get a response...sorry for the double post, but really looking for thoughts on this, thanks!!

i figured by calling, i was giving myself better chances for more money (less likely that shortstack doubled up) plus pot odds when it got around to be were pretty friggin large, 4-1ish and no WAY i was a 4-1 dog...(right? or at worst, RIGHT at 4-1 so math was a wash lol)
Here are comments I got from one, anonymous, very well respected P-5er...

Well, against 2 hands you were more than likely worse than a 4-1 dog, and you were 18% here. Still...not sure this is a bad call, considering it helps to eliminate the other shorty, and if the pusher (bobb) wins...you still get 4th.... post this one in hand advice :)

so thoughts? (not that it matters but went on to win the tourney....mainly concerned with opinions regarding the chip stacks and the play as it directly relates to this specific situation. I took awhile before calling. Thanks!!

  2. Good.
  3. i agree with u... first off... you were playing too win right? second Bobb@fab could have had anything considering he was on the button and raising two shortstacks... third... blinds were gigantic in relation to your stacks... forth... i would have put luca on any A/whatever hand thus probably giving u live cards... so i would and have done the same exact thing... somtimes it works and sometimes it doesn't... bravo... :)
  4. thanks guys!!!

  5. and yes, ALWAYS play to win :), plus being shortstacked, felt that the move ALSO gave me a better shot at moving up the next $ spot.
