? I was happy just to flat the original 700 but with the re-raise surely i'm looking at atleast 1 overpair?
  2. yes obv. or at best minimum of 3 over cards if an ace is counterfeited...
honestly dont really have the odds to be setmining on the first place
  3. Probably folding to the initial raise. You aren't deep enough to be set mining here.
  4. So if i'm folding to the initial raise, how deep do i have to be to setmine? 20bb? Sorry just getting confused as in a previous thread i got told that my thinking that committing 10% of my stack hoping to hit a set is flawed?

  5. Conventional wisdom would say somewhere between 3 - 5% of your stack in a tournament would be the most you would want to call.
  6. just fold to the original raise. your not getting the proper implied odds you need.

you want about 15:1 and your getting less than 10:1

and yea, after all that action it makes it an easy fold

edit: idk if u know how but ill tell you anyways

to caluclate implied odds look at your stack and villains stack, then the bet you must call. take the smallest stack out of you 2 and divide by the bet you need to call. that gives you the odds.

in this case you have the smaller stack of 7,000. you must call a bet of about 700 (its good to round for time). so 7000/700 = 10:1. you want 15:1, so 15 times 700, is about 10-11k. if ur stack was 11,000 then id call and setmine, but not in this case
