Good places to live in Cali for 2-3 months???

    Sup fellas,

    So basically I grind near Toronto, Canada. I wanna move to cali from like jan-march to avoid the cold shitty winter...Any suggestions where the best areas are I should look in to? I'm gonna be grinding online like 80-90% of the time, but wouldn't mind the odd live limit cash game 30-60 holdem + , and wouldn't mind being reasonably close to Commerce for the LAPC in feb....Also, I don't wanna be in like a boring suburban area, but like a decent night life, places to meet girls etc....Let me know whatever advice you boys from cali have for me.....

    don't know how old you are but if youre 20-30 i'd recommend checking out pacific beach or somewhere in that area in san diego. hour and a half drive to commerce but also 5-6 casinos within 30 minutes and a couple more small card rooms.

    Edit: Didn't read the cold weather thing, so yeah that leaves San Diego and San Diego! Maybe look towards La Jolla if you want something a bit nicer.

    Santa Barbara and La Jolla are definately two of the nicest places in the entire world...but prettty damn expensive, also pretty much anywhere in san diego or surrounding areas

    Oh wait, if you want to get back to Canada alive, best spots for young single guys with some cash are Manhattan Beach or Newport Beach. Santa Monica is cool, and so is Pasadena also.
