I tank for like 25 second pf and on flop before checking
anybody think this is a good spot to c/r, does he fold some K combos to a c/r like KQ KJ? does he have a pair of kings here? is it likely that hes got a pair smaller then 10s that he's betting?
    any help is appreciated.

  2. You need to lead the flop or fold...you're committing too many chips otherwise.
  3. didn't want to lead and get raised, and have to fold.
    any other thoughts?

  4. Not sure why you didn't lead out on that flop. You could flat call and re-evaluate turn, but you'd probably have to give up without any more information unless another T hits or something like maybe a K.

If you did c/r, you'd probably just have to shove
  5. what is your read on this guy, prior history etc

    I don't think he's ever lead folding with a K here.

so you need to narrow his range a bit before you make a decision.

without any reads i cbet fold to shove

  6. id fire 2/3s to 3/4ths of the pot when it is checked to u on the flop, and fold to a reraise
  7. You have to lead on the flop, otherwise u get no information on his hand and u find urself in the predicament that u found urself in....

  8. unfortunately I had been moved to the table like 6 hands before and had no prior reads other than both players that called me were top 10 stacks in tourney at the time.

I felt pretty good about the flop when it happened but i didn't want to stick in another 3k w/ a standard c-bet (25% of my stack) and get shoved by someone just putting me to the test and have to fold. obv i played this weak but really kinda felt like this may be a good spot to check raise but also felt like given his huge stack he's not gonna fold to my shove regardless. and he could possibly have a king here or JJ-QQ just felt like it was a really awkward spot I got myself into.

just like to hear other peoples opinions as to if you think given his stack size that he rarely holds anything i'm beating and that he's just trying to take the pot down in position?
is it wrong to let the fact that both players that called me were top 10 stacks affect my decision on this flop?

  9. guess no one else has any other opinions or feedback other than 2/3-3/4 pot sized c-bet of flop/folding to a Reraise. what about if I lead 2/3-3/4 and he flats and the turn comes J, Q, A or even a brick for that matter?

anyways I timebanked for like 45 seconds then mucked 1010 only investing the minimum, i guess i played it weakly but i didn't want to risk to many chips w/o knowing i was ahead.

thank you very much to all those who provided feedback, very much appreciated.
