Party Money Grab

As a final slap in the face to the player, Party has engineered a money grab. They converted points to cash for the red carpet promotion early. But if you have less than $50, there is no way to get it out. Having made previous withdrawals after their announcement of non-US, there are lots of players with a small amount of money in their account. I guess this goes to Party. It's a lot of money after the freeze in total.
Thanks alot for keeping your reputation intact.

then you hear rumors that they dont have enough liquid cash on hand to pay out all of their US accounts.....
does anyone know whats up? -
I just cashed out my $2675 and it was in my netteller account in minutes!!!! all accept the 47cents, I will deal with that tomorrow when I call them to determine how they plan on crediting me my Monster monthly value.
-
I cashed out twice the ast 2 weeks, First time it was in Netteller in 3 hours, second time the Fed Ex guy was at my door in 2 days (premium check) Thank you party.....

Any time you have a customer base as large as party there are going to be some unhappy customers. Overall I think party is a very respectable company, I only used them a couple times but I never had any problems with their service. No one else I know that have used them have had any problems either.
I don't think it's really fair to blame party for closing it's doors to US customers. As a publicy owned company they really have no choice. Blame bill frist for them closing, not party. -
if you really beleive their a respectable company, you need to read this

"I will deal with that tomorrow when I call them to determine how they plan on crediting me my Monster monthly value. "
In the same boat...they told me once the bill is signed and they figure out the logistics, they'd be issuing cash value equivalents for any unused Monster freerolls you have....please post any info you get from them vis-a-vis this matter, tia. -
He got his money back though, or am I reading it wrong ? I don't see what the big deal is if he got his money back.

i found this from the player himself on their site
Player Testimonial
July 29, 2006
I spent months trying to recover nearly $30,000 that had been stolen from my Neteller account and deposited fraudulently into an account at partypoker. Despite extensive documentation and testimony from Neteller proving my case, Partypoker still refused to return the money. After months of dealing with incompetent and unresponsive agents at Partypoker and at various poker watchdog sites, I finally tried pokerroomreview.com.. Mike responded immediately, and within a few days had posted an article on his website detailing my case. Within 2 weeks, Partypoker refunded my money in full. I am forever grateful to Mike for his assistance and professionalism, and cannot recommend his website highly enough.
