Got scammed on UB

    In my haste to move money from UB, I made a $25 transfer to a player, who I later found out is a scammer. His name is shak990, user name shak on twoplustwo. So please beware.

    I have sent a few emails to UB and no response in over 6 hours. Can anyone please provide me the email address to the Khawanne Gaming Commission?

    Yes I sent money to the wrong guy. I neglected to do the proper due diligence as I was upset about a chat I had with a UB representative. Now of course, after several chat sessions with the wonderful support team, I am even more frustrated.

    I understand it was my error and am willing to lose the $25 as I should have known better than to transfer first.

    But... I want to email the Gaming Commission so they can put the scammer on file so hopefully he doesnt get to do this to someone else.

    I've been really ill for the last 6 months, and am on tons of medication, so my judgement was a little skewed when i did all this.

    Sucks to be me right now, as $25 is a months supply of the vicodin I need to survive on. But I will survive, just looking to make sure no one else gets screwed.

    Why did you ship 25 $ to a player from UB? Was he gonna meet you in real life and give you cash or something? I dont understand how this would have moved money from UB to you.

    Sorry to hear you got scammed though, hope you get your money back.

    I was looking to move funds from one site to another. This site doesnt allow you to request it, so I went to 2+2, a site I dont know very well.

    I missed the "transfer" thread... which has led to a host of wonderful messages... but that's anothe story... and I transfered first to the wrong fellow.

    Again... my bad.

    I feel like an idiot... and normally for $25 I wouldnt even be saying anything, just email UB and let them handle it... but as I kind of need the money right now...

    Forget it I am rambling...

    The combination of vicodin and gabapentin makes it possible for someone with severe nerve damage/pain to wish to not kill themselves.

    When someone makes a deal with you to send $25 on another site in exchange I consider it a scam. If you wish to use a different word so be it.

    More Cowbell I believe your story and I think it's pretty lame that someone scammed you. I am sorry to hear of your health condition.

    I am by no means rich but I would like to give you 25 dollars to make up for the $$$$ that this guy scammed you for. I run like shyt on UB anyway so I might as well ship you a few bucks rather than just wasting it on another buy in.

    All I need is your screenname and first name on UB. God bless and I hope that your nerve condition gets better.

    I just recall his Ak's all in preflop with q9's and t8s and stuff. One time I remember the guy caught quads on the flop with 888...

    You seem like a good guy. FYI, My wifes on some pretty heavy stuff too and shit happens. Class move to turn down the funds fwiw.

    Yep obvious level. The many private messages I have from the guy that took my money is a figment of my imagination.

    Been on this site for quite some time now... Dont think I am going to "level" for $25. Is it a "level" when I turned down the generous offer above?

    Good for you for refusing government assistence, and the generous offer from the player to give you $25. I have the ability to apply for a disability tax credit, and do not wish to as I lead an active life, and do most anything I choose to do. My condition is a little depressing to myself, but I play the hand I got dealt and live with it. Hope everything goes well for you, and things get better. Don't dwell on the things you have no control over. That is how I approach things, and for myself, weed will there for me when I have no money, more then money will be there for me when I have no weed.

    The weed is something I miss right now as I am down in Florida where I dont know anyone who does it.

    All my other stops as I visit different doctors and clinics I have connections, just not here. Totally bummed!
