  1. Do any of you grind non Holdem SNG's? Since there has been discussion on NLH SNG's getting tougher, maybe the competition is softer in games like Omaha or O8?

I know the downside is the games don't load as quick as Holdem. But, maybe one can achieve a larger ROI to make up for it?

Has anyone grinded a large number of non-Holdem SNG's? If so, your thoughts??
  2. I played 1 Omaha sit n go one time that I regged for on accident and I shipped it. So I think I have like a 500% roi in non-holdem sit n gos which really has me thinking.

Seriously though, they don't ever fill I doubt anyone who is even slightly +ev in holdem could make more hourly in non holdem sit n gos.
  3. i doubted since you need volume currently on FTP there are 5 omahi HI sngs that are running and all under a $5 BI. there is 10 O h/l $11 Bi running, 7 $5 bi's running, and 11 $2 BI's. there are currently no stud sngs running, and only 3 mixed games running.

even if you could have like a 50% ROI which is impossible but maybe not since ur always gonna be on a super small sample it would still be better to grind holdems at 1% ROI and play 100x more games.

I guess at $1 levels it can be done but still not the most optimal.
  4. Any non holdem game requires a bit more post flop/turn/river play (or 5th,6th, 7th street w/e) as opposed to the standard NLHE thats so popular today. They also require more skill and concentration, which means fewer tables simultaneously IMO. So to answer your question, NO, i dont know of anyone who grinds a ton of NON holdem SnGos, but would like to hear some other responses, surely there must be some who can manage that>>>pokerbots lol
  5. I agree with racer on the fact that omaha would be too tough to multitable... there are just so many different draws you have to look for, it would destroy your life if you tried it. Holdem is easier because you can just have your push/fold range and get a pretty good roi... if you try omaha though let us know if you survive

Some good thoughts, thanks fellas. I was just curious to see if there is anybody who does it. The number of games could be solved by playing across multiple sites. But, as mentioned, there is more thinking on each street so it would be tough to play many games. Someone could play quite a few Omaha DON's at once as there are less decisions, but I really wasn't referring to those. I grinded $1 Omaha DON's playing 5-6 tables at a time a few months back. I was going to play 1,000 just for fun. I had grinded out about $60 in 450 games or so and was about to go insane, so I stopped.

If I can get my bankroll healthy enough, maybe I just might grind some reg. Omaha SNG's for giggles. If I do it though, it'd probably be the $3 six mans since they seem to run pretty often.
