  2. im intrested. depending where you live in Hali. im in the southend
  3. I would be intrested.
  4. I'm interested
  5. I'll listen.

  6. Interested
  7. sounds like good times.
  8. so whats the deal then?
  9. I didn't expect this many replies so fast. I'm psyched about it. I don't really care about the stakes or the venue. I'd be willing to host a game if there were less than 5 players. I don't really have space for more than 5. If anybody has a good setup for more than 5 players that would be sweet, cause it looks like there's quite a bit of interest. As far as stakes go my max buy-in would probably be about $100, but I'd definitely go alot lower than that to make it more accessible to whoever wants to play. I'd play for peanuts as long as it's compettition. If you guys have any input I'm all ears.

  13. Not sure if I can play with some of you sharks but would be game to try.

    Cash or tournament?
  14. I think the reason I started this thread is because I have friendly non-competitive home games and strictly business online games. I want to get a friendly yet competitive game going if that's possible. most of the people I know who play poker are pure leisure players and I don't know any serious players or online players for that matter. since I spend quite a bit of time playing online poker I figured it would be a good idea to maybe get a group together who have similar interests. my goals are to basically have a fun game, that's also competitive enough that I can learn something from playing in it, and hopefully competitive enough that everyone can take something away from it. I could just go play a dooly's tourney or go down to casino nova scotia, but in those environments I'd be playing to take my opponents heads off, and I wouldn't want to discuss how to improve, with strangers who want my money.

thanks for the MPC link by the way. I'll definitely check that out.

  16. As far as I know all the Dooly's tournaments have been shut down. Sackville, Bedford, and New Minus have all been shut down for a month or more.
