Edit: Also how would your play change, if any, if my hand was QJ instead of J5

    Results:

Made it 800 on my rereraise so that I could still get away from the hand if Krashark came over the top (I would also do this with 55, although I wouldnt be getting away from that), I honestly wasnt worried about money (put him on a flush draw, too much credit I guess).

When Krashark pushes I put him on the only hand that made sense to me which was QJ. Felt my raise to 800 told him that less than 2 pair was beat and now he was telling me I was beat. Didnt feel like he wouldve limped with a pair such as jacks or queens in that late of position and discounted 55 since it was the case 5 and unlikely but possible.

I eventually folded and here are the results:

    chrisc7 folds
    KraSHarK shows [Kd Kh]
    moneymannc shows [6d 6s]
Uncalled bet of 1,415 returned to KraSHarK
    *** TURN *** [5d Qs Jd] [Ts]
    *** RIVER *** [5d Qs Jd Ts] [2c]
KraSHarK shows a pair of Kings
moneymannc shows a pair of Sixes
KraSHarK wins the pot (3,850) with a pair of Kings
    *** SUMMARY ***
    Total pot 3,850 | Rake 0

Seat 1: chrisc7 (big blind) folded on the Flop
Seat 2: leppanen didn't bet (folded)
    Seat 3: B_O_K_E didn't bet (folded)
Seat 4: AzianGuy didn't bet (folded)
    Seat 5: 4kingcards didn't bet (folded)
Seat 6: KraSHarK showed [Kd Kh] and won (3,850) with a pair of Kings
Seat 7: GrinderMJ didn't bet (folded)
Seat 8: fimotischer (button) didn't bet (folded)
Seat 9: moneymannc (small blind) showed [6d 6s] and lost with a pair of Sixes

Obviously a little upset that I missed a very good opportunity to pick up chips early but feel like this was the exception where I was ahead and 99/100 times I am behind based on the action.

Feedback please on my actions and reasoning. Thanks
  2. Hmmm...

krashark limps in mp which could mean QJ or KQ

With moneyman check-calling the 280..then calling the all in

    wow...55?????

    ummm...someone else post

(Insta db check krashark, with how much was in there I wouldnt worry too much about moneyman as there is about a million to-1 odds to call him if was singled out.
  3. you must be behind here and have to fold

your probably up against bigger 2 pr or even set and something like 910dd
  4. What hand range limps in krashark's position though? That is what you have to guess. There is too much in there to fold to moneyman's all in...for stack sizes it plays into krashark's range and personally I know he doesnt limp with Q5 here.
  5. I think that KraSHarK has you beat and that moneymannc could also have you beat or is on a draw. I put Krash on QJ or 55, possibly JJ (some people limp this), less likely getting cute with KK or AA (but also possible). I put money on 55 or 9d10d or kd10d. Although I love flopping two pair in the blind and its a hand that normally gets me a lot of chips, I think you have to fold.

If you have QJ it's a lot harder to get away from but I still think you have to fold. If this were a $5 or $10 tourney, you may be able to call with QJ. But at this level I would imagine that you are beat.
  6. satty's get shipped in this. If it were just a 100$ mtt maybe but this is a tourney with hellacious sattelites

I havent stated what I would do which would be fold, but I can see going into the call.
  7. fold fold fold
  8. Call and be pissed when Money flips over Q 5...I'd play this the same way with QJ and call whatever...Top 2 is a huge hand. You lose to a flopped set, so be it...Pay them off and move on to the next one.
  9. KraSHarK has KQ
    moneymannc has QJ

    You called and lost.

    Just a guess.

I would have folded. It's early and you still would have 50 BB if you fold. You are going to have many more spots to choose from in this tournament. Not to mention you will have some information on the player(s) as to how they played this hand. What did you end up doing?
  10. I think folding bottom two there with that much action and a caller is pretty obvious.
  11. Fold. I hate bottom two pair more than anything, and people are shoving on you with, absolute best case scenario, KQ, worst case, you're dead meat, and even then, that board is so draw heavy I don't like my chances against two all ins.
  12. Forgot to mention in this case if I had QJ instead of J5 I wouldnt have gotten away from it. Is this correct or is the action telling me that qj is also normally beat here?

  13. That board was draw heavy so the fold I believe is correct, but when I was posting yesterday I was thinking you did not hav eto worry about money, which I was right and I just had no idea besides QJ or KQ a hand that krashark could have. Last guess was KK, but obv life donk.

    All in all, good fold
