  1. Very confused about this hand. I don't want to complain because I'd love to get in AA vs 94 any day. Just confused of the 3 bet call as If anyone plays with me regularly would know that I 3 bet way less then most regulars. Any feedback is appreciated.

  2. maybe he polarized your range since in your own words you 3-bet less than the reg, and he called 10% of his stack off getting 3-1 as kind of a set mine with a lot of implied equity?
  3. Veni vidi vici?

  4. standard positional raise, raised 592, you rr to 1,424(832 more), call 832 into 2376 = 2.85:1 odds with position. calling the 1424 took 10% off his effective stack to take a flop and check/fold if he doesnt hit one of two hands 999 or the flush.
If you had made it roughly 1,950 he folds and you win the pot.
Also, could be in the rebuy period???

not in the rebuy period and why would we want him to fold 94s?
  6. Not in rebuy mode.

Why would we want to give him the right odds to call? making its 1,950+ makes him look like a donkey instead of following the math?

because he has something like 18% equity?

hahaha I rarely read anything....but this made me laugh...thx alex!!

  14. I'm just trying to learn, taking nothing away from SCT. I am just trying to understand the play. I have called 3 bets with 89 suited in position, adding the straight option. With 94, The only flop I would be confident hitting would be two 9s or 2 4s especially assuming my tight 3 bet image.

It doesn't seem that bad the way the OP describes it.

I doubt SCT stacks off on a KJ5 flop, unless SCT puts the OP on exactly and overpair he's getting good enough odds to call.
  16. obv just temporary sight loss from God for that hal labarsky slowroll
  17. 3bet bigger oop?
  18. he doesnt wanna give the impression that he is raising such trash that he wont even call a tiny reraise from the small blind when he is in position.

  29. shit would hit the fan if sct had aa and jb had 94h. dumb post regardless.

  30. Last year in the 100k Bodog I had about 14k, SC had about 19k. I had been tight at that table for about 30 min and we were at around 120 left. He raised in mid pos around 3k (1k bb I think) and I flat called with 10 10 in the cutoff. (Probably should have just rer and took it down).

Flop 883. He checked and I bet pot, he snap moved all in and I called. He turns over A3 and rivered a 3. No thought required. I called him an idiot since if he was paying attention he had to put me on a decent pp. He responded by saying I had no clue, standard play, etc..

All he had to say was, "ul, gh".

He went on to win that day - 25k.

He is a good player but does make some idiot plays at key spots late.
