  1. 15 left of a 90 man turbo - 9 pay

Original raiser has a big stack and has been very active, so I thought his range to be ATC

There are a couple of very large stacks on the other table. The chip distribution is really top and bottom heavy.

    Avg stack is 18,000

If I fold, I'm left with 5325 and will be putting in 600+150 in the SB next hand.

I tanked and really thought this was a situation that warranted me getting it all in here HU vs this player. I really would rather be first in, but there's no guarantee that I'll even have the opportunity to be first in the pot in the next few hands anyway.

If I push, obv no FE, but winning the pot would give me 14,700

So, is this a push, fold or flat/push flop?

  2. I always look to shove rather than call off. If you want to make your stand with the K5d flat preflop shove any flop. Give yourself an additional chance to win the pot. If you did shove and obv lost to inferior hand no reason to be upset. Nothing you can do.

  3. I'll add the results to show that I'm not being results oriented. I won the pot, am questioning if it was the right play given all the information.

I immediately threw flatting, flop pushing out the window as I thought I didn't have enough to get him to fold anything on the flop, so basically it was the same as pushing, but looks like I may have had enough to get him to fold a completely missed flop?

  4. How soft are these things?
  5. I don't have tons of experience with these, played more of the $10 and $3 ones.

Do people, including myself make less than optimal plays in these? Hell yes!

  6. you're better off calling and shoving the flop rather than getting it in pre, imo.
