Ok this is where I had the biggest Delimma I put the Villian in the hand on a FD the entire hand...if I bet I am extracting 0 value if I am correct as he his 100% of the time folding if I check and he has air it gives him a chance to ship it in in hopes to steal the pot in position....he may even bet here with an ak kq kj or k9 kindda hand....thoughts?? -
My thoughts would be the same as yours.. Unless he has K10 lol. Which most typically happens more often than it should. But calling after the turn that size of a bet, I'd hope, depending on how loose they play, he has a high kicker. But there are plenty of people I've seen make calls like that and are holding their flush draw still.

flop - i like call 100% better
turn - bet bigger
river - jam -
Flop---raise more if raising
Edited By: DRezz629 Jun 17th, 2010 at 04:18 PM
Turn---fine
River---I think you have to bet river.. the pot is at 7k and if u check after all the action you have showed (c/r flop--barrel turn) i think he checks a ton and you lose value by not betting river. If read is right, FD, then hes not calling river bet and not betting air -
i rly dont like the raise on the flop tbh,

as played i prob lead out river mainly bc it a $5 tourny and could get value from decent amount of hands
in higher buyins i prob check since i doubt we get 3 streets of value from much that we beat and there might be a slightly higher chance that they bluff a missed draw -
you didnt give us your reasoning for check raising the flop and i think thats the biggest problem i have with hand. are you trying to build the pot with top pair? get the villain(s) off the flush draw? get value from 7x...? when you make this c/r you should be giving yourself a reason for doing so. if you are going to make this c/r, which personally i dont like because its bloating the pot with top pair no kicker, id be making it bigger since now youre giving them both odds to draw to the flush
i think the turn is fine. i get your argument for checking the river since you think he might stab with a busted flush draw, but in my experience people at the $5 games are going to be more passive and theyll just give up more often than not. id rather bet and hope to be called by a king or random hand like Txcc that might check behind if you check but will call a bet -

FOCUS on the hand ladies and gents the changing of a name has nothing to do with the post...I think this is a leak in alot of peoples games betting when they should be checking and checking when they should be betting.....FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS!

he felt he had the best hand on the flop so he went for the check raise to get HU, the amount was really bad but thats why he c/r per him directly.
