This is a new table for me, but i have been highly active... i have 3bet 2xs and flop raised a guy when he donked out of the sb(we had history) all in under 10hands

    Then comes this hand...

I know Below is watching the table and seen me and my active play so i decide to flat the AQo because i dont feel i can play it to a 4ball from him with whick he can do pretty light im sure...Im in postion with a under-rep'd hand

So the bb call also im new to the table so i dont have reads on him...

but on the QT5r flop i think he c/r there with all his draws and most Qx hands
    Thoughts on the spot please...

Skkills *still no 3r FT ;(*

  2. Don't mind too much how you played it. I'd rather see a 3-bet pre-flop most of the time, but I understand your logic. Don't necessarily agree with it all the time, but I'm sure I'd just call there sometimes as well.

  3. thank you Grapsfan for commenting... more thoughts guys please

  4. why are you getting 40 bigs in there after the flop.. probably should exercise a bit of pot control or else fold when he reraises you there.. looks way too strong check raising. dont mind the flat pre but raising gives you more information and gets out the hands like 10 q. I dont like raising aq against fp raiser but depends how active he was i guess.. he was probably opening pretty wide at that buy in so.. really need more information to know what should be done

I assume you've never heard of BeL0WaB0Ve, pete? AQ is like a pocket pair of jokers against his range, which is why I'd prefer a 3-bet/never folding to a 4-bet line here.

  6. He's c/r range there is pretty wide imo... KJ all his Queens and J9(s) not to mention his random pure bluffs that doesn't believe me or Below...
So think folding there would be a mistake..

3betting was something i thought about but i didnt wanna face his random 4ball allin... thats why i opted to flat and keep his info on me limited... and i get to play in position.
I think vs a me (random in his eyes) if i makes a hand post or thinks he can barrel me off he will.....Sick part was he had the KQo which he said after the hand in the chat..

  7. obv ive heard of him.. he might be playin really tight at that table tho if its full of a bunch of 3 betting idiots.. his range isnt the same at all times bud

your getting wayyyy too many blinds in there with tptk postflop imo

  8. OP I don't understand your logic, you're saying you've been active and you know that mr saul is capable of 4balling you light, normally I don't love 3bet/calling 40bigs with AQ but with the dynamic as you described it I absolutely LOVE 3bet/calling here, as graps said, AQ is the virtual nuts in this spot, so many hands he's shipping on you here if you have been somewhat active.
