    No reads but I assume shrub is playing a tight early game style and not getting out of line much. What's your range to call on river as played?

    The way it played out, esp with the check on the turn OOP after you time banked the flop b4 betting AND the turn he could def have a set hoping for you to be out the turn into his boat. However, check on turn could also mean missed D FD, but is this a player you could see drawing OOP?

    I fold as player tho

    I left my hand out because it's kinda irrelevant to the situation, I just want to know what people would call w/ on river/shrubs range?

    you clearly have AK...and you should clearly call this river bet. while shrubbery does have a boat here, he also has AQ for sure, and probably AJ as well...call...gh

    I like this but it's still close imo. If he's never bluffing and his range is literally 44/66/AA/88/AK/AQ doesn't seem like AK does too well there...

    Even if that's his range this is still a call with AK.

    edit: woops was forgetting shrub's 1100 bet on river....

    don't use pokerstove or know numbers at all really but I assume this makes it much closer?

    I'd include 57o or 57dd as part of his range, as he would likely bet a rivered straight pretty hard to get value from all aces. With that included, I'd think this makes AK a fold. Didn't run any numbers, just guessing. And fwiw, I personally wouldn't fold AK, I'm just saying it's probably the right fold long term. I'd call with my mouse already hovering over the muck button, as usual.

    are you really smooth calling pre flop with AK in this spot? and you think he he smooth calling with AQ/AJ here too? Maybe AJ but i dont see that with AQ

    It's not, if I have AK. I'm primarily concerned w/ Shrubbery's range here regardless of what I had. Any guesses as to that?
