lol @ best games... its $100 max buy in from 1/2 to 5/10. They run some small tournys. I drive down for the 1k mtt tho when they run it every few months now i think

i guess no one has caught onto this yet... "I have made most of my money from an acounts online (not under 1dvus1) on bodog an fulltilt. " and being that he's registered on p5s as 1dvus1..i think we can safely say.... there's another one who's buried his own grave.

I play the 2-5 game there a decent amount and the play is literally horrid. The max buyin is $100 but if you jump around and find the right table you can usually find one with deep stacks and just gamble it up a little in the beginning. The 1k tourneys they run are lol at how bad the field is. In general the dealers are horrible though and the players are a bunch of grumpy men...not sure I could handle that day after day but gl!

Not sure about Tampa, but the Hollywood Hard Rock has the worst NLHE ring game players on the face of the earth. Old, retired, rich, and plain horrible.

Also, there is an 1100 buyin "Big Slick" tourney in Hollywood the last saturday of every month...not every couple of months. Might want to check it out. It brings out some of the better players though. I've played with the Grinder, and Chino in that tourney.

yeah the cash games are a huge crap shooot. and i occasionally like driving down to play the 1k buy in....*brag* and shipping it for 75k.

I will never understand the people who complain about how bad the play is, when talking about a poker room. That's exactly what I want. Fish chasing big bets on the turn to hit 2,3,4...hell even 8-9 outs. All day, everyday. If you don't want their money, I'll take it.

I can't wait to get back from Korea. December 15th. I'll post when I'm hitting up the casinos.

Finally some one on point,I have played at the (seminole hardrock) and man are these people loose and wild, you can find betting patterns as easy as U can online, like the guy that will 4x raise in the cut off every single tim, no joke. I have played with caddilac williams and the special teams coach of the bucs, and these rich fucks dont care about a few dollars, so they are chasing on the turn and river all day. If you pick your spots well $100 will turn in to 2 racks ($1000) in less then 8hrs. Last bit..last time I traveld down to play, limp in pot(5 players) I flop a set of 4's wnen the bet of $5 gets to me I make it $15 on a J-9-4 board, the lst to act makes it $150...and this idiot I have seen him make crazy moves, everyon folds and its to me..I tank and figure..open ended or a made hand of J-9 but his style of play he would raise with PP, prob any. anyways I push my $240 left behind me, jackpot he has J-9, 2 bullets faded and I drag a nice pot, 2 1/2 hrs and already above $500. Great place to play IMO.

not at all, well i was in Miami and was able to find the kush without leaving the tables. Yeah FLA has a $100 max buy-in on cash games but they still spread $5/$10 which is crazy. I spent the whole summer in Miami at Miccosukee (an indian casino, 24/7, smoking allowed at tables). One suggestion stay away from the $5/$10 cause that is a crapshoot with max buy-in of $100. Over the summer I averaged about $50 an hour playing $2/$5 and $30 an hour playing $1/$2 there. No info about Tampa but Miami is good for the poker, will be there again next month.

I live in Tampa. play is terrible mad easy to make 3-400 every night and SNGs are super soft you could make very good money just playing these. And I can hook you up with some fire probably when you get here.

Im gonna PWN Blade tonight, if hes man enough to step up from the 2/4 limit game.

You also have games at Derby Lanes and Tampa Downs - both more comfortable than the Hard Rock. Tourneys don't get enough play (IMO) to make it worth the effort - but might see you down there sometime.
