    Anyone know why Dan had to cover the logos on his hat but Gavin was allowed to wear a Full Tilt logo on his shirt?

    I thought the WPT wouldn't allow any promotion items.

    Harringtons hat is Boston Red Sox. I dont know why they would block a sports logo, and allow an online poker website.

    on a similar note...are Vince and Mike that big of fools or is everybody else? Were they or were they not mispronouncing Minh Ly's name. I thought it was said like Min Lie (even Doyle said it at the beginning like that) but they kept saying it like Ming Lee? WTF!??!

    Beginning with this current season the WPT has been allowing online poker companies, as well as other sponsors (Oakley), to have logos at the final table. There are a few conditions however:

    1. It must say .Net. It can not say .com or just the name of the website (i.e. FullTiltPoker)
    2. The company must be on a list approved by the WPT and the host casino (in other words, UB isn't allowing a pokerstars logo at their event, but the Commerce will)
    3. The player wearing the logo has to be on a list provided to the WPT prior to the tournament start time. Not on the list, not wearing a logo. This was done to eliminate the bidding wars that errupt at WSOP events.

    The WPT is getting there. But the business model is still built on selling t-shirts and chip sets - not on being the PGA of poker.

    Min had a doyle's room shirt on too. The wpt's policy on logos has always been messed up.

    those commentators are such tool boxes. the best one was when that chick basically asked don't you feel like you just got ass raped ..... what a warm interview after dude got unlucky. And that dude Minh that dude is a straight up gambler, i mean all in, all in, over the top, geez they must not want to play for that long. a few hundred thousand don't make any difference. lol .

    It was awhile ago when I read the WPT rules for logos, but I seem to remember restrictions on the size. Something like 1" by 1". Also, only one logo per person. That is why Gavin had tape on his hat, yet the logo on his shirt was not taped.

    I'm not sure why Dan's hat was taped up.
