  1. stars is up to 94,587 tonight - highest I've seen. Anyone seen more, anywhere? That's amazing to me.

Getting tournament summaries when they are over 80K is super slow too - will they have to upgrade soon?

    Just thought it was interesting...

  2. I cannot help you answer this question.

Only one man on here knows the answer to this. And to every following query you have.

    I won't say his name.

But he'll be here within the next 73 minutes. And he will have your answer.
  3. I just find this amazing - maybe its just me.

This is from the official P5 review of PokerStars, done Jan of 2005.

PokerStars has been hosting online poker games since 2001, and they have gradually become an enormous site. Log on at peak hours and you’ll find at least 20,000 people playing at thousands of different tables.

5 times as many people play at PS than last year? I didn't think that was possible...

I just wonder what their actual membership is? Will they need new hardware soon? I need a life...

  4. A lot more railbirds now too. People are logging in nightly just to watch great players. You can guarantee 10K or more are just watching.
  5. Is the 100k people who are logged in, or people who are seated at a table? Also, if someone is 8-tabling does that count them as 8 players?
  6. Just logged in.
  7. also the .net advertising and some freerolls up to 15k ppl alone is probably 25% (if not way more) the volume of site.....and about the 5k in the 200 every week...i played it first time this weekend....you can satellite in for 40 bucks if you put your mind to it..lots of donks in for 13 tho..still my favorite site
