I lost my internet for about 25 seconds and right when I came back my hand got mucked. Is there anyway Full Tilt Poker can prevent this from happening in the bigger MTTs or atleast majors ?

That sucks man, isnt that why they say to just shove and not save like 2 chips, obv you have more then that but you get the point
-
I've had this happen a few times. As far as I know there is no protection for it. I've lost it for 15 minutes all the way up until 3-4 hours later. It's not that fun to finally get connected again only to see your stack dwindled down to the short stack at the table. One of the few major problems I have with online gaming.
-
That's pretty gross.
I'm guessing/assuming you haven't run into many disconnect problems on Fulltilt? Just sayin' cuz if you have you'd obv. never leave a few chips behind w a 15bb stack.
Just recently I've had my fair share of them, although just in micro stuff & priv. donkaments but it's pretty disconcerting as I'll find myself overshipping for fear of 3bet-disconnect-folding. Totally sucks! (it's the only site I EVER have disconnects on & that's while running 4 sites at a time fairly regularly). -
Gross. Never happened to me but it's hard to imagine that something can't be done about this. All they really have to do is add some code to the disconnect routine that gives some extra time when a player has more than 50% of his stack in the pot already. And they can scale that time based on the buy-in amount so that the higher stakes stuff allows more time.
-
that sucks bro that hasnt happened to me..
-
u dont have an air card?
-
^^^ This. Just common sense to give players some extra slack when their tourney life is on the line.

Good fold.. He had a/k

He won the tourney...be glad you timed out. Why are you ever playing him in a pot to begin with? Serious note, that sucks.
