calling JTs not that big a problem you have 75 BBs at the start of a tourney so you have room to make plays like this. On the flop i might raise just to get a sense of where im at. Turn i like the check after he checks. River is where you went downhill, you raising was not a good play. In that situation when you raise you are really not going to be getting called unless he has a J or a Q. J is a chop so there was no use, and Q you are just putting more chips in to lose. A call on the river was your best bet, its still a nice pot if you win it, and you stay away from losing a large amount of chips if you have the worst hand.

Very funny.
Think about it harder as to what the other player has. You obviously haven't done that.
In this sit a Q beats you and a Jack splits, anybody else really shouldn't be playing this hand the board is just too dirty. There is no value in betting out here so check call. -
your a fish lets play a cash game togethar
-
the thing that made me LOL was your pf call.
-
why would you play anything but +ev hands with blinds the way they are. its like trying to bluff at 1/2 NL at an 18 yr old casino. if you ask me, you played the hand horribly from the beginning.
-
You have the low end of a boat on the river...that is not the time to raise. Just call and save yourself some chips. The only hand that comes over the top after you raise is one that beats you in most scenarios.
-
With smaller blinds I have no problem calling in position with a speculative hand. Especially in low limit tournies. You're investing a small amount of chips to win a large amount of chips. I don't usually like playing heads up with a hand like this, I'd rather play a pot multi ways but to each their own.
