I was playing at Casino Niagara last night, and one of the pit bosses came to me to ask me to remove my headphones.
When I asked him what the justification was, he just simply responded with "it's a government rule".
Can anybody confirm this? -
Yes, it is actually a government rule. The Ontario Gaming commission ruled that head phones could not be used. It's not a casino's choice in Ontario.

ontario is lame like that then. headphones are fine in BC

Not all casinos. In Vancouver, the Great Canadian Casinos (river rock and boulevard) allow headphones while the Gateway (starlight and cascades) do not. I'm not sure where Edgewater falls, if they're independent or what, but I think you're allowed headphones there.

I know in Brantford they also do not allow hoodies, but all they have there is limit games. Soooooooooooooft limit games. lol

thats dumb. oh well
