  1. what is the general rule of thumb for number of buy ins for bankroll purposes?

    say 50c/$1 h/up nlhe......what would u buy in for and how many buy in's in your roll to be properly rolled.?...thanks

    If you're planning on playing exclusively HU this would prob be a good starting point, but I'd rather have more to be safe. I guess it depends on your style. Personally, my worst HU downswing was 23 buyins <knock on wood>.

    Sounds about right. But this would be for someone who is planning on grinding these games seriously. If you're just a semi-serious/for fun player or w/e you can pretty much play with whatever you want if you have a steady job or something. It's all about your goals and what you want to do.
     
  6. first if u r asking this question i would start with .25/.50 HU .. second I would start with ATLEAST 20 buy ins 1 tabling if you are a competent poker player .. pm me for questions .. i played HU cash exclusively for quite a while and my best friend is a pro multi tabling 2-4 and some 3-6 right now so i can help you out .. gl
