what is the general rule of thumb for number of buy ins for bankroll purposes?
say 50c/$1 h/up nlhe......what would u buy in for and how many buy in's in your roll to be properly rolled.?...thanks -
If you're planning on playing exclusively HU this would prob be a good starting point, but I'd rather have more to be safe. I guess it depends on your style. Personally, my worst HU downswing was 23 buyins <knock on wood>.

thanks...right, so 60 buy ins....at 50/1 say buy in for what $100 ? so $6k roll needed?...is that about right?
-
Sounds about right. But this would be for someone who is planning on grinding these games seriously. If you're just a semi-serious/for fun player or w/e you can pretty much play with whatever you want if you have a steady job or something. It's all about your goals and what you want to do.
