    I've watched quite a few episodes of this and for whatever reason never thought about this before, but why does phil hellmuth play on this show? Isn't that kind of counter productive considering he is a UB spokesperson and I'm sure part owner or something????? Yet he still plays regularly on a pokerstars TV show??? just something I though of and wondered what everyone elses thought were...

    he's no longer a UB pro, severed ties last month or so I believe...you can see he isn't found wearing his standard UB gear anymore.

    I just want to see ONE full tilt pro on the show even just for one episode. Theres doyles room, UB, pokerstars, why cant we have someone good to watch instead of the 4 randoms that are on this week

    Proberly you don't see any Tilt stars at the Big Game is because you don't see any Poker Stars stars on Poker After Dark? Maybe these big name companys are being childish?
    As for PH being on the Big Game a few times, i'd have to say:
    1. He's a camera wh0re
    2. Big Game has a loose cannon amature with $100k and that's PH easiest target on a TV cash game. (PH sucks at cash games and he sucks against the likes of Ivey, Dwan etc)
    3. He's good friends with Negreanu and Negreanu just loves to stick his d!ck in everywhere that has anything to do with Poker Stars?

    just my opinon.

    he started to wear ub gear simply to spite ub. he knows he has a shitty image and if people see him wearing it they wont play there

    My point is even if he did part ways with UB, when the Big Game was filmed he was still a UB pro. So your reasoning has some serious flaws whether it was filmed months ago or not.

    Four randoms? I'd much rather watch guys like Amak, Elky, Mosseri, and Jetten than some poker celebrity like Phil Gordon.

    well i guess elky isnt a random, but theres a bunch of forgettable people on the show. Daniel has been on poker after dark, so just throw ivey on there once or durrr and see what happens. It would be more fun than watch daniel make annoying comments to amanda every week

    pokerstars pros stopped playing on Poker After Dark because its called the Full Tilt Poker Show in other markets. I would bet that FTP decided not to let their pros play on Pokerstars shows in response. Either way getting to wear your patch on TV is good advertising.

    It has nothing to do with Phil hellmuth as a person trying to get money from the 'loose cannon' so stop hating and spewing nonsense.

    UB being the small company as it is wants as much exposure as it can get. Thats why u see other UB pros on other shows. Annie Duke has been on PAD tons of times. U cud say its cuz Lederer allows her, but I think its more of the fact that UB lets their pros play more liberally because theyre just trying to get as much exposure as possible.
