    can someone give me an explanation as to why devilfish is saying that hellmuth should not bet the river after dwan checks to him 3 times?

    lol, devilfish is on the level of about a $6.50 sng player. Both players played their hands perfectly imo.

Checking the river for Phil is giving up a ton of potential value, and when he gets check-shoved he realizes he's beat and makes the correct fold. What about this hand is so amazing?

    Standarad. Durrrr knows hes not getting any value leading 5th. Durrrr knows PH has a hand here and that there is no way he is checking flush or an ace. C/S seems optimal and Durrrr is pretty goot.

    nice laydown but he can never call here even getting 3-1

    The Fish and Hellmuth had been having a running arguement on this show and Hellmuth had commentated also. The next heat they are on the same table and Hellmuth brings up his commentary saying Fish made himself look stupid and they argue about it. Hellmuth saying every other player in the league said it was correct to value bet and the Fish saying thats not what they said behind his back

    So true. If durrrrr had air there, and hellmuth would NOT have bet the river fearing A-T he would have said wtf Phil, you donk, you have to raise here....

    Both players played it perfectly! I would love to have seen devilfish get away from that hand like Phil did.
