I've been playing more mtts lately and ran into this spot. I didn't think that i was good here because even though the villian has been fairly aggressive he usually just shoves. Since he bet has his stack it seems more like he has a strong hand where he wants someone to come over the top. What would your play be here? edit: not sure if it's because i'm using a mac or if it's actually coming up like this but the HH is messed up and it doesn't seem to change..

What's your read on Cobra? If any.
This is a very interesting spot. I think your suspicions about him raising half his stack and not just open shoving are well founded. So many times when its getting late in tourneys, you see guys change up their raises and when they go smaller, it almost always means they have a strong hand and are looking for action.
There's absolutely no doubt that the rest of his stack is going in after the flop and if you flat and Cobra shoves, Fudikrazer is going as well and you're basically going to have to call, so this is without a doubt a push/fold situation.
Like I said, this also depends on your read of Cobra. If he's super nitty then you definitely don't want to be involved in a 3-way race with him in it. -
Cobra has been playing fairly tight/ABC poker and hasn't been playing back at people that much but when he does he has a monster
-
That doesn't make it any easier.
I don't know, I guess I lean towards a shove. It's not a guarantee that Cobra is going to playback at you, especially with a re-raise and a shove in front of him and if he folds, you've got Cobra covered although you'll be short if you lose.
It's a critical spot, but you have a big hand and a win here will set you up nicely to get even deeper. -
Take it as read I know nothing but what the hell...
I'm folding here.
You push you're almost certainly getting called for me and then...in the lap of those fickle poker gods. You've got 30+ BBs and you're deep. There will be better spots.
If I'm completely wrong please explain why. I'd be grateful. New to the site and poker etc
