  2. if you don't say will you fold a 5 he might fold there
  3. You two are clearly out of my league.

You obviously had a sick read, he had an even sicker read.

  5. If the A doesn't come on the river you might get away with it...because really ur line is total air and then ur obv not shoving the river with JJ-KK, anything but AT, 5x. So yeah, if river was a deuce then maybe, and I dunno what the metagame was with the chat.
  6. theToilet really really really hates the fold button

  7. ill add my two cents,
the small bet size on the flop, followed by just a call can be interpreted as being very strong (having the five) but most likely youre not holding a T here...
the turn gives him what in his mind is currently the best hand.... and your huge reraise is being interpreted as you trying to get him off his hand, and based on the flop play lets assume he know u dont hold a T....
A comes on the river and agains a good plkayer like the Toilet you overshove looks like a bluff more than anything else. Remember he is putting you on air, and i dont think you would shove the river if u had hit the Ace..

prolly works for a nonreg who is playing scared but in this occasion you were outplayed

Went with his gut/read? Hey rock, how quickly did he call after you made your comment in chat? Think that might be interesting also.
  9. the toilet owns souls, obv a spew on the riv against him

  11. turn raise looks a little spewy

i think it starts preflop and every street that follows

  13. It's really no big deal, because when I spew I try and spew into The Toilet aswell!
  14. by the turn you pretty much have to have trips/boat the way you played it, or else it's total air. I suppose JJ-AA could be in your range on the turn but again if you were aggro he's prolly discounting those hands.

Come the river you're not shoving AK or something like JJ-KK. He's basically putting you on AA, A5, possibly AT?, 5x, TT, rarely ever 99 so we can kinda discount that, or complete air (this i believe will be the majority of your range). seems like he's c/c river if he called the raise on the turn, i guess the A could change things a bit but most likely not. Add the fact you're someone who he perceives is able to run a big bluff here he could/will c/c lite.

    sick call toilet

  15. Sure looks like big time FPS on both of your parts. If this was the 100r, 200r or 1K I think it would be more understandable that you were scrapping in a spot to get chips. But this is a Sunday major and you are picking a leveling battle with a top-100 player in the world at 70bbs effective. This particular table is beastly but the SM is filled with players that will be more than willing to spew chips to you. Isn't that worth considering before you tangle with toilet here beyond an open and a c-bet?

The line and result are irrelevant to me. It shows me you had a good grasp on toilet's range but he had just as good a grasp on spots where you can, and do, show up with air. It isn't surprising. You are both world class players. I understand the how and what, I just don't understand the why.

    Oh and post more, please.

noo doubt, idont even know why iplay this game..
  17. You guys do realize that they play a lot different against randoms? and that you play this game because u only do this type of stuff once in a great while against people who might have notes on you?

On another note, this forum is tilting me.

  19. Do you think he would fold to a smaller bet maybe? Say in the 80-90k range.

I'm not going to say yes he folds because toilet (and rock) are on a whole different level. He still may be more than capable of picking this off, but that line/bet makes much more sense. crazy fkn hand tho lol.

edit: and no way i am saying a single word in the chat while this is going on. i honestly think that comment hurt you more than you realize.
  21. Man, I mean the more I look at this hand the more I realize how insanely sick you both are. I mean clearly he was weak so you had the right read, and some fucking how he knew you had absolutely nothing.

Is a hand/bluff/sick call like this common?

I mean I don't think I would ever attempt such a large bluff, and I'm never confident enough in my reads to make a sick call like this.

Are plays like this in the arsenal of all top players, or is this more like a one in a million hand?

Rock, any chance you want to break this down like the hadn vs Kanter with the 88 (I think), which by the way was a sick calldown by you as well.

  22. 3bet the flop to 48k and fold if hes sick enough 4bet? obv calling the river is gross enough. i think rep a strong hand after raising pf makes more sense.
  23. what did you put him on after he called on the turn?

are you thinking this comment completely thru?

    prob not.

If he is calling on the flop wtf do you think he is going to do on the turn? was his call on the flop hoping to connect his under cards? I am in noway saying he was spewing at any point in this hand I just think the quoted comment is not thought thru very well.

I understand rock's line but i think he got ahead of himself on the river. The River A was a line killer bc it shrinks his value range up too much. It pretty much turns his range into AA 1010 rarely 99 and sometimes a random 5x hand but mostly just air.

I think jpegg and a couple others are just comepletely out of league with comments that they made.

  25. good players are good at sniffing out bluffs in spots like this

sick bluff by rock, sicker sniffout by toilet

its only spew if villian is insanely good enough to herocall any pair on the river for a ridiculously unnecessary amount of chips with a good stack

    so.........its spew imo

  29. Not totally, but his turn sizing def looked like he wanted a raise. If he bricks turn he prolly would of made a normal sized bet. Not the worst line but def outplayed and maybe betting 2/3 on the riv instead of shoving makes it look stronger?
