I know Barry Greenstein gives alot of $$$ to charity.. But does anyone know of any other high stakes players who donate $$ to any good causes?? I have been watching the newest PAD's and it made me wonder... Players like Ivey are starting to get to me.. The way he just carries on and on about how much he's up or down just makes me sick... Maybe it's just me... -

Some people give to charity and ask to be recognized. This still makes most of them good people for the charities they are benefitting. There are others that do it solely for the recognition in whatever community they are in, not sure what category I put them in. I put the people though that anonymously donate to charity in the most selfless category. Its really none of anyone's business what people do with their money and just because players like Ivey do not say they do not donate to charity doesn't mean this is necesarily true. He isn't the type of guy to probably tell more than his close people what he might donate to. Just my 2 cents.

I sponsor Tekleyes, a six year old Ethiopian boy. I send him poker and pyschology books, push-fold charts, and grapsfans articles. By the time he is nine he will be grinding mtts fulltime and be able to provide for me and of course his village.
