when will there be the high stakes forum, the idiocracy of all these low limit people coming into big buy in threads and replying with their awful advice is really just getting out of hand and it is insanely frustrating when there could be good discussions from high stakes regs these guys just fill up threads with garbage information and i think p5s HAS TO GET ON IT. im sure all high stakes players can agree with me on this, the bumping of posts these people do when they have no clue what they are talking about it getting way out hand and poker discussion posts are becoming noticably worse. also i think hand advice threads should go in hand advice, i dont know who started the trend but it is really getting old.

edit: this post was made to discuss the high stakes forum's future not to come off sounding like an asshole so if you don't get the point of this thread then don't comment in it.
oh and brsavage you are very classy, cheers. -
as a low stakes donk, i cosign this. I think it's more valueable to have good discussion between the levels than to have arguements and sarcasm between low stakes and high stakes players. Id feel more confident giving my opinion to players that are consistent winners at levels I play and lurk the high stake forums for more advanced levels of thinking. I think it would be better for all involved.

Cool you can start a high stakes forum for your elitest ass.
but what is goign to stop the rest of us low limit donks from posting in it -
cosign, also it seems the hand advice section doesnt get much traffic.

Love how low stake player's are treated like 2nd class citizens. This coming from a boy who's not old enough to do any adult stuff. Maybe you should just worry about getting a zit on you're prom night and and try to mature into a man. And yes I'm a low limit player.

meh, smart players can sift through threads and get the info they need from who they need.
one can evern learn from bad posts though....keeps u on ur toes, makes you realize how a losing player might see the hand/play it which can definately be used to ur advantage. And theres a lot of good posters who do in fact play lower stakes.
But ye, high stakes forum would probably be aight i guess.

seriously, it is a problem because when low stakes donks chime in they often give horrible information and as a player who came here to learn about the game, I was mislead so many times it tilts me now to think about it.

What's idiotic is the low limit players NOT wanting this. With the collection of great minds on this site, if they want a high limit area for posting give it to them. Simply read all the shit they say so you can learn from that. I'm sure if there was a higher stake forum, a lot more ranked guys would post.
-
cosign this and basically what wretcy just said, it doesnt have to be blocked to a certain level player to read, just blocked for certain level players to post. IDK could make it 2500 plbs or top 95% in rankings to be able to post or something like that, but I think this is a good idea and one that needs to be done
-
I like this idea

I would read it 10 hours a day. There was great discussion last week that Stevie, dpottz and others contributed to. Anyone not wanting this is a moron.
-
costyn. i'd post way more if there was a high stakes forum withinteresting hands and more complex thought processes involved.

Why would anyone not want this? Do you guys realize how many stupid posts there are on this site on a daily basis. No you should not be folding QQ to 1 raise with only 15 bb's. No poker is not rigged, and yes blocker bets are a myth. The high stakes forums on 2+2 are great and encourage some interesting poker discussion that you can really learn from.
-
cosignaments.

well i think the best way to regulate it would be to a. have mods remove the useless posts and b. if u used a certain plb level there would certainly be plenty of players worthy of posting in said forum who who consequentially not be able to for w/e reason.
regarding hte other issue basically what it comes down to is, there is so much garbage on p5's and a high stakes forum would atleast provide a section of the site where everyone could go to learn and thats what low stakes players should aspire for/aspire to be
---seems most of the hate from the lower stakes players just comes bc they think their "manhood" is being stepped on and they are just failing to realize how useful the forum would be for p5's
hopefully after a month most will know where to/not to post, things will run smoothly like in high stakes mtt on 2+2 and p5's will have made a large stride in improving the overall content of their site. -
God please let this happen
