    Just thought id throw it out there, with some of the online guys gaining a more ublic profile in the last year, I think this season has the potential to be an excellent watch. Some players id like to see...

    The Usual Suspects:
    Ivey
    Patrick
    Sammy
    Doyle
    DB
    Hellmuth (always good TV - and a great opportunity to see him get owned)
    The Mouth (Hellmuth buys a piece of him and Mike berates him for the entire session)

    The Online Debate:

    Tom Dwan (sitting right beside Hellmuth and Sammy obv.)
    Phil Galfond (maybe the most consistent online player)
    Ziggy (not afraid to mix it up)
    Larz (also not afraid to mix it up)
    ADZ (because I would love to see if he can live up to that video he put out).

    Alternates:
    Tony G. (put this guy at a table with the Mouth and Hellmuth and things get interesting).
    Nenad Medic (Solid cash game player with good tourney identity)
    Todd Brunson (though i'd rather watch paint dry).
    Stevebets (Probably have to be staked, but would certainly make it clear in the forums that he has edge at this table).

    And I've seen enough of Sammy, Barry and Doyle from an entertainment standpoint.

    Hellmuth and Matusow, strictly for the lolz.

    Negreanu, Benyamine, Antonius for live sickos.

    Durrr, OMG, and maybe that tool SBrugby if only to hear people bust his balls about being such a white shirt/khaki pants wearing toolbag on PAD and cheating incessantly.

    As i posted a few days ago it seems that Johnny Lodden (aka bad_ip for old times cash sakes) might play.

    He stated in his blog that he's going to play Five Diamond Classics in Vegas in December and then probably another big event there just after that which will be revealed later. Can't really see any other "event" that fits the bill as season V seems to be taped from Dec 19-21st.

    Should be interesting if it happens.

    I also think it would be cool if they had two tables going right next to each other. More chance for action, and more cross talk from table to table, make the atmosphere like a small poker party and let the sparks fly. Plus, it would be great if they decided to film something other than Holdem on the last day of taping.

    Don't like this. The idea is to catch a high stakes cash game in action and see all the ins and outs and the metagame crap which leads people to decisions. X bluffs Y to set him up later and then Matusow calls everybody an idiot. Too many personalities, players and plays to keep up with when you've got two tables.

    edit: I like the non-HE idea though! They'd have to dedicate a good 4-5 hours of the series to it though. I don't think there's enough scheduling time.

    id be willing to wager my 'roll that they are not having anything besides NLHE on high stakes poker. The reasons are obvious: public being poker noobs aka not understanding limit or pot limit games, and less action...a high stakes PLO tv show would take so much commentary and quite frankly who is qualified to comment on high stakes PLO and what goes behind the thinking then a few who are playing it...etc etc...anyways point is THIS SHOW WILL ALWAYS BE NL HOLDEM

    Agree 100% with the Peter Eastgate thing - I think the "eating farts from tupperware" thing might be more appealing here too.
    Also, maybe add Eli Elezra, Kevin Saul & Jean Robert that was on Survivor - he's got a big mouth
