  2. First off, the villian made 2 mistakes. Number one, only min raising with AA. And more importantly, number two, not betting bigger on the turn with 2 players still in the hand. He had to know that one of you guys were on a flush draw. But, he bet only 100 into a pot that had 400 in it, which basically gave you guys 5 to 1 odds and it became 6 to 1 after breddah called. Now, I understand how you thought that you may already have the best hand, but what did you think he had? If you put him on a hand like AK or AQ, why did you raise only 220 into a 700 pot leaving you with a stack of 1063? If you did put him on a hand like AK, what do you do on the river if another A pops up or even a K or a Q which puts some straight possiblities on the board? Are you good enough to lay your hand down? So you see, the small raise definitely puts you in a dilema, especially since he could reraise you all-in which is what he actually did with a set.

As a general rule of thumb, whenever I get offered 6 to 1 odds to make my flush, I just make the call and hope to make it, especially when my bet closes the action.
