    Last night we had a home game dealers choice... The game was Jacks or better to open, Trips or better to win. The question is does the winner have to show the trips or better to win the pot???? I said you have to show but the winner said no and mucked....

    Any help much appreciated

    It's been a LOOOOONG time since I've played jack or better/trips to win. However, iirc, you don't have to show the trips to win (assuming everyone folds to your bet) but you do have to show your jacks or better that you opened with.
