Home game Tourney Rules Question

    Long story short:

    8 People left in tourney.
    Hand is dealt. Under the gun raises their is a reraise and one call. Action is on the button and he looks down to see he was dealt 3 cards. Now this did not effect the cards dealt preflop and he has not looked at the cards.

    What is the ruling?
    - Is the hand dead?
    - Is the button's hand dead?
    - Does he give up top card if not looked at and its the burn?

    I would think this since the button was dealt last and it doesn't really make a difference if he hasn't looked.

    ya pretty sure top card would just be the burn.. if the table couldn't agree on if it was the top card or not it would be dead
